Short, punchy, and mathematically spot on 🤷.

Just kidding, wouldn't want anyone actually taking me seriously 😁.

Look, I know... this isn't the first or last page I've scrolled through on this thread... 😁
We're just taking the piss out of AJ a little bit... 😳 🤣

So how do you even debunk that mathematical proof for God's existence? You know, the whole "0 + God = God" thing. I mean, you can't exactly argue with math, right? Dammit. 🤔.

Alright, let's talk about God.
Preach. 🙂.

No, that’s just a blatant misuse of scientific tools. (And if it isn't intentional, then they're just delusional 😳)

Since our friend Judas is actually a mathematician by trade, let's see what he has to say about this 😁 ..

The Invisible Pink Unicorn is a deity found in various religious parodies, frequently employed as a way to satirize theistic beliefs.

😁Everything happens when it's meant to, but truly, as briskwalker10 once noted, empirical science serves as an adequate starting point.

Look, buddy, you clearly know more about this than I do... I've seen you setting things straight when everyone else is completely off base. You provide the technical specifics—and you do it thoroughly—yet they just shamelessly brush it off. It's ridiculous, really... they don't even realize they're only able to use this forum because of the very expertise they keep trying to dismiss. 🙂

Quick hint: this thread deals with psychology as a formal science, so based on your last post, I doubt you're gonna enjoy this one much 😛

Now that's a pink unicorn I haven't seen before😁.

🤣

And what about the social sciences?🕺😁

Or chains and a brass knuckle to the head? 😬

Within those fields, you can have all sorts of different theories developing... belief in them is secondary at best—since you form your own perspective just by studying them, and there often isn't one strictly "correct" answer—whereas belief in exact sciences is primary. Without that foundation, you're basically inviting superstition, religion, and (non-diagnostic) delusions into the mix...🙂 😳 😁

You nailed it, Jerry Robinson56!
The only thing I’d add here is
Jerry Robinson56 said:Believe in yourself.

...And have faith in hard science, too...😁

0+God=God

🙏🙏🙏

Anyone got the key to this one? 😁

I don't know what to tell you... some people just have a way of seeing things that doesn't align with reality. It’s constant. kaže:
That’s a solid equation...🤣

Here’s a bit of math for you: 0 + 100 x God = ... actually, let me just say—to hell with all of them...

God damn it... three times over...🤦

🤣

When a child sees a father being allowed to insult or strike their mother, they aren't going to respect that mother—mostly because she isn't respecting herself. If she had any self-respect, she wouldn't permit that kind of behavior from a partner or from her own children.

A good old-fashioned spanking works—those methods are tried and true. Everything else is just talk..
Mark Martin10 said:So what, we're supposed to use "eye for an eye" logic and beat kids into submission?

If you don't believe little kids can be unimaginably cruel, just say the word and I'll drop some links to videos.
Don't get mad at me, man, but it's a little... weird that you even know those videos exist and where to find them.

They shouldn't be hit.

It isn't weird. Unfortunately, the internet just shoves this kind of stuff in your face without checking if you actually want to see it. ☕
George Davis6 said:There are definitely plenty of different ways to handle discipline with kids.

Sure, there are. That’s why guards in juvenile detention centers carry batons—so they can give kids a little affection when they start acting up.

George Davis6 said:Kids just mimic what they see! There’s no way a little one just randomly decides to start hitting and kicking out of thin air—they definitely picked that up from the adults around them. It's just more proof that physical punishment is absolute nonsense.

Not true.

Actually, it is. Aggression is hardwired into humans. That isn't the issue—the issue is when they start using it to dominate others. And you have to teach them from childhood that they aren't allowed to do that.

Until you see someone treating your kid with the most brutal cruelty imaginable. Then those "natural laws" of yours might shift a little... 🙂

PS: if you don't believe small children are capable of unimaginable cruelty, just say the word and I'll drop some links to videos.
