Uh, I feel like it’s just kind of resolving itself on its own... the lump has actually gotten smaller, and it doesn't even hurt to touch anymore...
That's honestly so good to hear 🙂
Girls, thanks so much for all the replies
Sophia Clark68 said:I’d say it sounds like an ingrown hair. When they happen, you can usually feel a little lump under the skin—maybe about the size of a pea. Pretty soon, you might even see the hair poking through. Once you spot it, you can try using a sterilized needle to gently pull the hair out and squeeze out any pus that's formed. Honestly, the issue probably won't go away until that hair is actually out.
I used to deal with ingrown hairs all the time back when I was getting waxed at the salon. Ever since I switched to this specific bikini grooming tool, though, the whole problem just disappeared.
Hmm, this bump is actually a bit bigger than a pea... I felt some soreness earlier, but I just assumed it was my underwear digging in or something, then I accidentally bumped it last night... I totally panicked.
By the way, what kind of "bikini tool" are we talking about? 😁
So, let me start with this...
Basically, I noticed this little lump today in my bikini area—it feels kind of like a small ball of fatty tissue right under the skin—and it’s actually pretty tender when I touch it.
A friend mentioned it might just be an ingrown hair, but honestly, I’m not totally sure if a hair can actually cause something like that to happen?! 🤷
I’d really appreciate it if anyone here might be able to give me a rough idea of what this could be...
And admins, please don't be mad at me for posting this here—I just figured women would probably understand this specific issue best... since it's in the bikini area, which I guess usually falls under the "women's health" subforum anyway...
Thanks!
Scott Allen10, thanks a lot...
I know I didn't catch salmonella from a kiss, but I was actually wondering if it's possible to pass it on to someone else that way? Maybe I phrased things a bit weirdly before and it wasn't super clear what I was getting at 🙂
Michael Cruz4, honestly, so many people end up in the hospital because of salmonella, so I realize I definitely dodged a bullet here...
Hey everyone, I could really use some advice...
I’ve been digging through a few different threads about Salmonella, but I haven't really found anything super helpful, so I figured I'd just start my own topic here—(sorry, mods, please don't ban me!).
So, basically, last Sunday I came down with some pretty nasty diarrhea, stomach cramps, and this weird dizzy feeling. I also had a bit of a fever—around 99.5°F—that would dip back to normal and then just pop right back up again. I jumped straight onto one of those bland diets you're supposed to follow when you have an upset stomach, and luckily, the symptoms cleared up by Wednesday. I did go ahead and get a stool sample tested, and I just got the results back today... it's Salmonella.
So, now I have a few questions spinning in my head.
Since I can't get in to see my doctor immediately, I was hoping you guys might be able to help me out...
I'm assuming Salmonella can be spread through kissing, but I'm wondering how long I'll actually be contagious? Like, when will it be safe to go back to being affectionate with my boyfriend? We've been playing it safe for the last seven days and avoided kissing just in case, which—looking back—was probably a smart move.
Also, do you think I need to stick to that bland diet again?
And how long should I wait before needing to get another stool test to make sure it's totally gone?
Thanks so much in advance for any insight you can share...
I guess I can just say that I got my first period when I was 13, and back then, everything was pretty painless... but after a few years passed, the cramps really started kicking in. Now, my cycle usually lasts about 7 or 8 days, and for about 3 of those days, the pain is just absolutely awful...
I used to rely on Voltaren Rapid—though I’ve actually given up on that now, since it feels like it's way too harsh on the system—so lately I’ve mostly been sticking to Baralgin, because it’s really the only thing that provides even a little bit of relief. Standard over-the-counter stuff like Tylenol doesn't do anything for me at all, honestly.
Lately, I’ve realized that going for a light walk actually helps quite a bit, so I’ve been trying to make that a habit.
Anyway, that’s just my experience, I suppose.
