CIA Clinic, San Francisco in Women's Health ·
I’ve heard nothing but glowing reviews about Dr. Šparac, so I actually decided to book an appointment with him once... and honestly, I really regretted it. It just goes to show that having a high reputation doesn't necessarily mean you're seeing the best doctor out there...👎 Even though I walked in and clearly explained all my symptoms—all the signs of an infection—and made sure he knew I was planning to get pregnant soon, he didn't even suggest getting routine screenings done beforehand. After months of dealing with constant pain and discomfort, I finally went ahead and requested those swabs myself, staying with the CIA clinic... When he saw how bad the results actually were, he just sat there in silence and then prescribed me a treatment that didn't even address the problem. A few months down the road, I ended up seeking help from an infectious disease specialist, and they were actually able to get me healthy again.
I’ve never quite understood why he was so dismissive, especially since I’m paying for these private consultations and tests out of my own pocket rather than through insurance... Most people seem to think he's the absolute greatest, but I guess I just wasn't one of the lucky ones...🙄
I don't really feel awkward about any of this because, honestly, I’ve spent so much time bouncing between gynecologists and fertility clinics over the last two years that it’s started to feel as casual as meeting a friend for coffee...😢 I always make sure to wear a skirt—which is my go-to style anyway—mostly because I just can't bring myself to walk around someone's office feeling totally exposed...
It’s funny how things work out, because my own lab results and all those routine gynecological checkups looked absolutely flawless... until I decided on my own little whim to go in for specific swabs, only to find out I was actually dealing with chlamydia, ureaplasma, and E. coli...😲I was experiencing just about every symptom imaginable, yet my doctor kept insisting that everything was perfectly fine...

Often, what seems like a simple UTI is actually hiding a chlamydia infection underneath, so if I were in your shoes, I would definitely push for swabs, a urine culture, and an urethral swab as well. At the end of the day, your health has to come first...
Dealing with bad cramps? in Women's Health ·
I never really stick to just one type of pill, you know? I usually find that taking a 400 mg Advil alongside a standard Tylenol works wonders for me... it’s a combination that just seems to hit the spot perfectly. A doctor once mentioned that it actually works better than taking them separately since they each tackle things in their own unique way, which makes sense if you think about it... And to top it all off, I’ll have some peppermint tea to help me unwind, and if I can manage to drift off for about an hour, I honestly feel like a completely different person when I wake up...
However, we’re all such different individuals, and it’s funny how we don't all react to the same medication in quite the same way... I’m truly counting down the days until I finally get pregnant and don't have to deal with my period anymore!😍
How to get rid of cellulite? in Health ·
I've been using Guam dren mud for years now, and every single year before the summer heat hits, I make sure to do a little routine of about five or six treatments... honestly, it’s way more budget-friendly than heading to a spa since I can just whip up $67 five treatments right at home... this mud is really the only thing that actually works for me, and their creams are absolutely fantastic too, though I know that alone isn't enough to totally get rid of cellulite once and for all... you really have to change your lifestyle habits, and let's be real, that's usually the hardest part for all of us 🙂
