My issue is that my skin is darker around my joints. My hands are what worry me most because my fingers end up looking black-and-white-black-and-white 🙂
It isn’t a massive difference, just about one shade darker than the rest
The worst part is during the summer; once I tan, it becomes obvious. This is just how my skin has always been. I have an olive undertone, so I don't burn, I just get dark... I know someone else dealing with this exact same thing. Does anyone know why skin gets darker at the joints, or how to mask it?
Dealing with bad cramps? in Women's Health ·
The pain is so unbearable that nothing actually works. My only option left is to crawl into bed, hug a pillow, and just cry. :P
I’ve been to the gynecologist for exams several times. No cysts, no issues... everything comes back perfectly healthy.
I started my period in fifth grade and was taking painkillers almost immediately. By high school, I was already moving from Advil to much stronger doses. Now that I’ve built up a tolerance to basically everything, my doctor prescribed Nalgesin 275—which is usually reserved for post-op recovery. After taking that, I couldn't concentrate at all; I couldn't even follow what was on TV. I felt so drugged that I had no choice but to go lie down. To make matters worse, the pain didn't ease up one bit. I just ended up lying in bed, groggy and in agony. It seems my doctor is just as clueless as I am about what to do next. Every single month feels like I'm performing manual labor.😱
Hahaha, I have an identical one 😁 but I haven't the slightest clue where it is.
I had an appointment with Dr. Miller if anyone is looking for feedback... and I wasn't impressed. That goes for me and the four other nurses in the room with me. 😉
How to gain weight? in Health ·
Hey, does anyone have advice on which proteins or supplements to take to put on another 5 kg... I'm not talking about muscle, just straight fat...
I had nose surgery at fifteen, so there wasn't much room for deliberation. I didn't really consider which surgeon to use because my parents made the call. Clearly, they made the wrong choice, but that’s how it went. Ultimately, I needed the procedure just to breathe properly, though it should have been postponed until I was older. Unfortunately, I broke my nose around that time, so we decided to handle everything all at once. 🤷

Thanks for the polite response...🙂

..From now on, I’ll only stick to what is recommended...
What’s the move when mail hasn't arrived after a week? It wasn't sent via certified mail, just standard 🤷

Even though we had similar noses—hers just had a more pronounced hump—our noses look completely different now. I am glad I chose Tončić. 😁

As for me, I think my nose looks great. It’s only been five weeks, but I’m already happy with the shape. That said, a small "bump" has appeared in the middle. I can't tell by touch if it's something subcutaneous, like a pimple, or if it's part of the bone structure. 😕 I recall reading on some forums that other women experienced something similar, though I don't remember the exact details.
All I know is that it hurts if I apply pressure, or even when I apply foundation with a sponge. I have to tap it rather than swipe, because swiping causes pain.

Has anyone else dealt with this?

That happened to me after my first surgery. I went under the knife because my nose was severely deviated and I couldn't breathe—though honestly, breathing isn't much better now, so it wasn't a huge fix. A tiny lump appeared between my eyes a few months later. Also, after they shaved the bridge, my nasal bones ended up wider than before; they were cut and then reset wider, which makes no sense. Anyway, I had to go back in for a second procedure to remove the lump. It was done under local anesthesia, and I can tell you: the sensation was terrible.
It resulted in an extra day in the hospital. When the second doctor was removing my sutures, he actually muttered to himself that the job hadn't been done quite right. It was awful. There were three other women in my room; some told me this was their second or third time going back for corrective surgery.
Now, I suffer from chronic sinus issues. My health is worse than it was before, and I'll likely need another surgery because I'm constantly dealing with colds due to the congestion. 👎
I don't know if this is happening to others, but in my opinion, two surgeries, a week of blood tests and pain, and permanent sinus problems aren't worth any cosmetic procedure. That is just my take, based on my experience. I can't speak for everyone else. 🤷
