Look, chlamydia is a bacterium. It’s not some massive, life-altering disease if you catch it early enough. And technically, calling it a "disease" isn't quite right—it's just a bacterium (again) that can end up blocking your fallopian tubes, which then leads to all sorts of complications... and so on and so forth.
Chlamydia, mycoplasma, and ureaplasma are basically the only three bacteria (living organisms) that don't have a protective coating (not sure if that's the technical term), which means they can easily migrate to other organs in the body. That’s why people call them "heavy." They are incredibly hard to wipe out... and yeah, you definitely need antibiotics for these specific ones.
As for the girl asking about yeast infections—if you aren't feeling up for using those vaginal suppositories (all those different brands everyone else mentioned above), you could try a warm water rinse with some baking soda. You can use a syringe to gently rinse the area. It might take the edge off that annoying itching, but it’s not going to actually cure the infection.
Anyway, Nystatin works wonders in almost every case of yeast infections (even for babies), and Canesten is pretty much a go-to for fungal issues. Honestly, one dose of Canesten (one suppository) usually does the trick and solves the whole thing...
