And include the pricing and addresses if you don't mind... thanks!
I don't get why nobody will bother to recommend a decent dentist, even when someone specifically asks for someone with actual experience. Is everyone too stingy to give a little credit, or are you all just terrified of accidentally running an advertisement? It makes zero sense.
Charles Harris47, what’s the name?
How long did you have to wait for an appointment? Honestly, being told "come back in two months" isn't exactly my idea of a good time... I'd much rather they just tell me to open my mouth and see me in a month.
Walter Smith8, quit being stingy and give me the number🙂🙂
Man, my dentist spent two months trying to fix one tooth—eight days dealing with this horrific gangrene. I could tell it wasn't fully cleared out; the inflammation just wouldn't settle down, and you could still see the shadow on the X-ray
I even heard another colleague telling him she wouldn't go through with the filling yet... and you won't believe it, he still insisted on "finishing the job."
I’d sue him right now if I could, but I have zero proof. No medical records, no receipt, nothing. How am I supposed to prove I was even there? And you think my colleague is going to testify for me? Yeah, right.
Honestly, people like that need to be taken down. Every single one of them.
Why does that even matter?
Does anyone even exist who can actually help?
First, I had this private dentist—super polite, everything seemed perfect—who absolutely trashed my tooth. When I called him back a few days later because things felt off, he basically told me I was overreacting and it was just a normal reaction. Fast forward: I ended up with a massive infection. So, I went to a different guy (less friendly, honestly thought he might be closeted), who spent the whole time badmouthing the first guy and then managed to screw me over too. He filled the tooth way too early because, and I quote, "he wanted to get more done today." Now, I’m likely dealing with gangrene all over again. The worst part is the canals are full, and I'm terrified I'll end up needing surgery at a hospital.
But whatever, let's move on from that; I'll find a way to fix it.
My question is: is there a high-quality dentist in Washington, D.C.? I don't care if they're in a private practice or some hole-in-the-wall clinic in the middle of nowhere.
HELP MEEEEEEE
I visited Dr. Harrison at her clinic a few years back. Honestly, I think she overcharges quite a bit.
At first, everything was fine. I was actually impressed by the waiting room, how organized the office was, even the little goodie bags they give you. The nurse was lovely, too—everything seemed perfect.
Then, she became "famous." Suddenly, all these local celebrities started showing up, and the fame clearly went straight to her head. She became much less friendly toward us regular folks, and frankly, it rubbed me the wrong way.
One time, I went in because I suspected I had PCOS and needed some guidance. First, she snapped at me, calling me a hypochondriac. She told me I just needed to lose a few pounds and my cycle would fix itself, blah blah blah. Then, after looking at my ultrasound, she had to admit I was right and that I actually did have PCOS. It’s like she was offended that I actually knew what I was talking about and was trying to do her job for her. When she couldn't make the diagnosis herself, I basically had to do it!
Anyway, I haven't set foot in her office since. There is no way I'm spending that kind of money to see her ever again.
On top of that, she was constantly bickering with her nurse, constantly reminding her "where she stood," even though the nurse was incredibly capable and kind. It clearly got under her skin.
Definitely a NO for me.
