OB/GYN Discussion Thread

I need a recommendation for a gynecologist or an OB-GYN who takes insurance—someone who can actually write me prescriptions and referrals for tests.
I currently see a private doctor, Dr. Marton. She’s absolutely wonderful, five stars, I really don't want to switch, but everything with her is strictly out-of-pocket and nothing is covered by my health insurance. And look, I don't mind that. Every six months, I can set aside $267 for a check-up, no problem. But when she prescribes a specific treatment or medication, it’s all private prescriptions, and those meds are sooo expensive. It just hits my budget way too hard at that point.
I just paid for one single pill $167 (which was ridiculously pricey).
So, I’m looking for someone I could officially register with—someone good, who can handle my regular exams, write my prescriptions, and get me those referrals.
Oh, and ideally, somewhere that isn't a total zoo. I want to be able to book an appointment normally without waiting too much...
