OB/GYN Discussion Thread

Honestly, I am constantly taken aback by how some people manage to veer so wildly off-topic just to pick a fight. It’s frankly exhausting. If someone goes out of their way to ask for advice or seek out others' lived experiences, you should either offer a helpful answer or simply stay silent. There is really no third option. As for my own take on the matter, if you’re dealing with Candida symptoms, just go ahead and grab some Canesten. Let’s be real: most gynecologists these days barely even bother to run tests for those specific symptoms anymore. I remember the last time I dealt with this; I was prescribed Geonistin, went through the whole course, and got cured, all without the doctor actually performing a physical exam. But looking back, I spent two hours sitting in a waiting room for that? Wouldn't it have been much more efficient to just head straight to the local CVS or Walgreens and pick up the Canesten myself? Also, chamomile tea works wonders. And please, watch your sugar intake. Try to avoid wearing thongs—especially if you have a desk job where you're sitting for most of the day—and stick to cotton underwear. Avoid tight pants whenever possible. We’re all a bit more sensitive down there than we care to admit.
