OB/GYN Discussion Thread
in Women's Health ·
I’ve always been quite satisfied with my gynecologist; I haven't faced any major complications, so I simply head in for an annual checkup where everything seems perfectly fine. However, a few days ago, I came across a statistic suggesting that Pap tests can return false negatives in as many as 20% of cases, which has left me feeling somewhat unsettled. What is the actual utility of maintaining such a regular screening schedule if the very tests they rely on can produce inaccurate results?😕
