OB/GYN Discussion Thread in Women's Health ·
ironsurfer8 said:I noticed there were more women signing up under false pretenses,
and I’m one of them. Usually, I stick to private practice, but I eventually realized it might be smart to have a gynecologist covered by my insurance just in case. Well, my annual check-up is coming up soon 😬 and I thought about seeing the doctor I’m registered with through my provider, just to avoid unnecessary costs. The problem is, I have absolutely no idea what she’s actually like—which, honestly, was my main concern in the first place.
Is Dr. Dropulić Vidaković at the Siget Health Center any good?
I’d really appreciate it if anyone could share their experience with her, just so I know what to expect.

(I changed my name because I realized I misread the sign earlier. I also scrolled through this thread and saw a friend mentioned being unhappy with her. If I may ask why, feel free to send me a private message.)

My mother and a few close friends have all seen her, and they are unanimous: she is a disaster. They say she’s incredibly rude. One friend even took her medical records when she switched to a private clinic and discovered she had an infection recorded two years in a row that her previous doctor never even bothered to mention. To put it plainly, I wouldn't go to her.
I see Dr. Shedida and I’m quite satisfied, and according to my friends, Dr. Wahid—or however her name is spelled—is also excellent.

Thanks so much! I’ll definitely look into the details regarding Humira, though I suspect there's really no substitute for trying it myself to see how my body responds. Fingers crossed for the best possible outcome!

Please, go ahead and ask; a second opinion is always a valuable thing to have! 🙂 And when it arrives, it arrives.

Thanks!🙂
I’ve been doing some reading on most of the points you mentioned, and honestly, it seems wild to me that doctors would even suggest this medication given the sheer list of potential side effects. I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has actually used Arava—specifically, did you notice any lasting benefits?
How are you even supposed to decide whether to pull the trigger on this or not? My mother is currently facing this exact dilemma, and she’s genuinely torn about whether the risks are worth the reward. It feels like the medical establishment's standard approach is just to nod, take the prescription, and not ask too many questions.

Lately, doctors here in the States have started prescribing Arava (leflunomide) more frequently for rheumatoid arthritis treatment. I’ve been doing some reading on it, and honestly, I’m feeling pretty uneasy. From what I can gather, the list of potential side effects is quite extensive—we're talking things like hair loss, vision issues, and even liver concerns. 😕
Has anyone here actually used this medication? I would truly appreciate hearing about your personal experiences before I move forward.
