It’s baffling.😕 Humans are nothing more than biologically arrogant, destructive pests.🙂 Good grief. Some absolute monster just threw his dog off a fourth-story apartment building in Chicago. And get this—while the poor little thing was still dying, he actually tried to club it. It’s sickening. Truly depraved.😲 We are hands down the most messed up species on this entire planet. We are truly the only ones out there actively driving ourselves toward extinction.
In nature, you will never witness a pride of lions slaughtering fifty antelopes only to have four of them eat. It simply doesn't happen. That is just how the world works.
Humanity has completely overrated itself as a culture. It’s an unjustified delusion. Collectively, we are just plain unintelligent. The Gaussian curve doesn't lie. It is relentless. And here is one more from Congress for the "Timothy Jones85 the Mafia" fan club.😁 : Beneath all those layers of rehearsed clichés—even when dealing with the most advanced arguments from narrow-minded people—this entire debate feels like nothing more than pure activism.
I am not an activist.👋

My top 5 band tees:
1. Blues Explosion (that blue one with the woman on it) 2. Heavy Trash 3. nomeansan - Dear Ol' Dad (also an XL 😢 ) 4. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds (LOO/AB) 5. nomeansan - the one with the sun on the back (also an XL 😠 )
I practically learned how to drive while wearing nomeansan shirts. 😁
AAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! I collect them too! I already have two from just three concerts!!!
Cannon 6 things I’d rather be doing right now instead of heading straight home to a sleep-deprived wife and a month-old baby who’s constantly hungry. Or maybe the other way around. Who even knows at this point...
1. Sex. 2. Oral sex. 3. Any kind of sex where I don't have to use my own hands. 4. Having someone suck on my hand without any milk involved. 5. Eight rounds of ice-cold Budweiser. 6. Sleep.
Good grief, someone is actually listening to this garbage!!!!!!!!! What on earth are these people even singing about? Somebody please help me understand!!!
Soccer has completely soured for me. It’s honestly nauseating watching an American squad take on the Germans when the only American on the pitch (aside from two Germans playing for an American club) doesn't even step onto the field until the second half. Who am I even supposed to root for???
In five years, Joe will be back, parking his car in the middle of Times Square and nobody will give a damn because everyone just moves on. Whether he had 2 million dollars or not, I guarantee you he won't forget. Massive respect to him for what he accomplished, though. It isn't right for anyone to ever scratch his car or, heaven forbid, something even worse...

Look, that was just an example. It’s like when you can't find any decent beer... or when you're out skating on a rink and things get messy. They don't even have proper tracks over there; they just have rough streets.

The real issue is about money. Who wants to earn more? People who don't grasp why Draganja would leave for Qatar or anywhere else outside the States are asking if being 21 years old is "enough." He’s already in a position that maybe 2% of his peers in America—or even globally—can claim at his age.
*Top sports result *Top university / education *scholarships + bonuses + sponsors (you say it isn't enough; fine, I get that someone like Niko Kranjčar earns a hundred times more) but for heaven's sake, Draganja isn't some pauper. He’ll return to the US with a degree from one of the best universities in the world, and credit him for that—he earned it—but he did receive funding from the American system too.
He didn't get what an Austrian, a Briton, or obviously a Qatari would have been offered, but he DID get paid. Look, I can understand why he pushed for more, but HOO made an offer, and he still decided to swim away elsewhere over a difference of maybe 100,000.
Forget a million Euros. I know I'll think differently one day when I have mouths to feed, a family at home, and a job that doesn't make my hair stand on end. But you cannot say that America isn't worth a few thousand Euros.
If Duje has made up his mind, then good for him. Just know there is no coming back; this isn't a social club.
But listen, if someone offered you the chance to drink Australian beer, train for two more years, swim in the Olympics, and then go back to drinking Australian beer and dating Australian women because you're wealthy, would you refuse? At seventeen?
Do you have any idea how hard it is to make real money the honest way in America?
It honestly baffles me that nobody has stepped up to fill his shoes yet. I mean, this guy has been staring at pool scum, stray hairs, and flies circling the bottom of a lane since he was three years old. I’ve been training in the pool for about a decade now, twice a week, and I absolutely live for those long-distance days because there is something about swimming in open water and just being part of everything moving beneath you. But let's be real: nobody stays in peak physical condition forever. He did the math. He figured out that if he grinds for X more years, he’ll have enough banked to last a lifetime—enough to spend his late twenties and beyond living it up on a yacht, driving a Ferrari, or marrying into some massive fortune...
The crux of the matter is that right now, there are maybe three people in all of Europe at his level, and then there are at least 10,000 other swimmers who are only half a second behind him and could overtake him any given moment. Competition is terrifying. It’s like holding a winning lottery ticket while someone threatens to shut down the kiosk in sixty seconds. Let him do whatever he wants; let him enjoy himself because he earned it. In this country, the government only opens the checkbook when they can squeeze ten times the investment back out of an athlete. Personally, I am behind whatever choice he makes. I was screaming my lungs out during the Olympics, I was screaming at the World Championships, and I will keep screaming whenever someone makes us proud. If he decides to walk away, good for him. He actually achieved something. What really gets under my skin are people like Pavlek and those types who have never accomplished a single thing in sports but managed to wedge themselves into high-paying corporate suits. That's the real tragedy—those guys end up with way more money than any athlete's scholarship could ever provide...
And even when Phelps grabbed that one individual gold, my heart didn't exactly skip a beat...

1. Be female. 2. Waste their time on things like makeup, hair, and other trivial nonsense, while having zero interest in music, literature, or comics. 3. Not be overly gifted at intelligent conversation, yet not be completely dim-witted either.
Clarifications for points 2 and 3 (point 1 is self-explanatory, I assume): If she shares my interests, I will want to talk to her, and we will become friends. Period. If she has different interests but possesses a strong personality, we will argue, and then we will either become friends or freeze each other out. Period. Therefore, I am left only with those who have no interests, and even among them, there is a split: If she is capable of intelligent communication, I will want to talk to her and forget everything else. Period. If she cannot communicate intelligently, she will be boring and uninteresting, and I will have no desire to spend any time with her. Another period. Thus, I am searching for a fragile balance, something in between—a creature rarer than a snow leopard in the Rockies or some freak from the Everglades.
When you combine these views with my own social presence, you get the expected state of my sex life. Period. 🙂
I think there is exactly one such person. Once you hit the first tributary on the left after reaching Manhattan....
I’m scrolling through Reddit looking at him like he’s some kind of higher being. Honestly, there is no way I can compare him to those earthly analogies you keep throwing out there...
Back when I was still young and carefree, I once took this absolutely stunning girl out to a dance. Right when it was time to really lean into the rhythm, she started twisting and turning in this sort of half-spin. She actually lifted one arm above her shoulder level. See, there’s a rule for me: if a woman is dancing to the music and lifts even one hand past her armpit, I’m done. There is no way through.
crimsonfalcon17 - former Red Sox fan. I am officially done rooting for any club that brings in a circus act like Ciro. I walked away from the Sox when they traded away Prosiecki, and now I can't bring myself to support the Red Sox either because everything has become such a mess. Honestly, I’m just too exhausted to care about the nonsense happening in the domestic league.
Speaking of births—because of the imperial (non-meat) situation, we’re expecting in about a week. Time to drink up...
