Mark Pelaić, better known as Boy Meets World, basically became a household name after producing the debut album for the band Bilk. Once he wrapped up high school, he headed out to New York City to study audio engineering, where he eventually fell down the rabbit hole of dance music and started producing his own tracks. He keeps things simple by just calling his sound "dance music," and his first EP was released through the label Home Made Electronica, where he’s still pretty active in various ways.

It’s got this great, playful punk energy to it. Honestly, it feels like it's been forever since they dropped a real album, and just when people were starting to write them off... boom. It's packed with hits. Mate, what are you waiting for? There are plenty of us here who were way too young to catch them back in the day!!!

2. Stereo Total - Paris Berlin Rockabilly



A mix of rockabilly, punk, disco, French chanson, and electronica. Just two people having a blast. It doesn't actually have anything to do with Stereolaba, even if the name might remind someone of them (French vibes, 60s influence plus electronics). The best track is 'Patty Hearst'.😁

Klaus is essentially a one-person operation out of Cleveland, consisting of just Nora and her laptop. If you’re into noise pop or industrial stuff, you might find yourself thinking of Big Black, Einsturzende Neubauten, Birthday Party, or The Breeders. Surprisingly, Nora’s lyrics actually have some heart, even if the music itself is loud and chaotic. When they play live, though, it transforms into a full, heavy band featuring Bexx on guitar and programming, neven on vocals and percussion, and Nora handling vocals, bass, and programming.

Honestly, I think people forget that you can't really build a decent career out of those comeback attempts... even their last album was pretty mediocre if you ask me.

Speaking of comebacks though... I caught that new track by that guy from Mayales the other day 🙂
