Weight loss pills: What actually works? in Health ·
There’s a whole ton of stuff out there in the supplement market that isn't exactly some "magic pill," but they definitely help kickstart fat burning while helping you hold onto your muscle mass in the process.
I'm not even sure if you're actually looking for that kind of stuff—or maybe just sticking to things like Mr. Džirlo teas and whatnot?

Oh, and one more thing... that "food pyramid" thing? It’s way too loaded with starch if you're actually trying to drop weight. Honestly, just forget about it while you're on a diet.

Maria Kelly6:
Thanks, Brian Hayes26—I see you’ve been following this thread since the very beginning. Honestly, whenever I tell anyone that I'm 5'5" and just want to drop those last ten pounds to hit the 110 mark, they look at me like I've lost my mind! It’s frustrating. The truth is, I haven't been strictly sticking to any plan, but I'm definitely going to work on that. Anyway, thanks to everyone for the advice. If you have more, please—hit me with it. Specifically, how do you deal with sugar cravings? Because, let's be real, I am a total addict when it comes to sweets. And here comes the worst part—the hunger pangs are hitting again, which means I'll probably end up skipping dinner. Last year, I tried this thing where I'd only have fruit yogurt after 7:00 PM, but it was a total wash because I’d just overcompensate by eating everything in sight during the day—which, obviously, isn't exactly a winning strategy.

Honestly, you really ought to cut out sweets entirely—and trust me, once you get past that initial withdrawal phase, the craving just fades away. Don't go skipping dinner or anything like that; if anything, you should be eating more frequently. But, man, one of the absolute biggest hurdles is ditching sugar. It’s actually pretty brutal because it’s hidden in almost everything you wouldn't expect—stuff like mustard, ketchup, and don't even get me started on drinks like Coca-Cola... it's everywhere.

Kenneth Hernandez67 said:p.s. You mentioned you're weighing in at 54 kilos, but you totally forgot to mention how tall you are.

Hmm, I probably shouldn't butt in here—not that I want to be *that* guy—but she already mentioned earlier that she's 5'5". 🙂

Maria Kelly6, forget about finding the fastest way if you're actually looking to build some serious muscle in your glutes.
And honestly, where are you getting this idea that girls can't have flat stomachs? That’s just not true—seriously, what are we even talking about here?
It’s got absolutely nothing to do with anorexia—that’s a huge leap—it’s strictly about body fat percentage. Plus, biologically speaking, guys tend to pack on the weight right around the midsection way more than women do.

If you’re talking about Adderall—you know, since they had that ad running during Terminator 3—it works... just watch out so you don't pull a muscle or something, but yeah, you'll definitely drop some weight 😉

Ephedrine, when you mix it with caffeine and aspirin, actually does the trick—as for those other pills, I'm not quite so sure

*Echoes: The Best of Pink Floyd
*The Division Bell
*A Momentary Lapse of Reason
*Delicate Sound of Thunder

I mean, look—the covers are definitely top-tier

...but if you ask me, I’d throw these in there too:

*Atom Heart Mother
*Wish You Were Her
*Animals
*System of a Down... actually, wait, that's a whole different conversation entirely. 😁

So, he was asking about gaining weight and Maria Kelly6 gave him a really nice answer—but if you ask me, I’d tell him to just smear some lard on bread and sprinkle a little sugar over it. It’s honestly one of the cheapest ways to pack on the pounds... our old-timers back in the day definitely knew what they were doing. 😁

Now, look... if he actually wants to build muscle mass instead of just getting fat, that's a whole different ballgame. In that case, the absolute priority is bumping up protein intake—we're talking at least 1.5 grams per kilo of body weight.
Basically, Milivoj, since you're sitting at around 155 lbs, you should be hitting at least 70 grams of protein a day—though honestly, if you're actually lifting weights, you'd be better off aiming higher, maybe closer to 100 grams daily. Also, keep in mind that the body can't process more than about 30g of protein in a single sitting; anything beyond that just risks being stored as fat.
So, you just have to do the math on how many meals you need to eat throughout the day to make that happen...

Casey Palmer5 said:People have already covered the whole ECA thing in massive detail—honestly, just dig through the archives instead of starting a whole new thread and repeating yourselves.

Preach!
Man, what a rush coming back to this forum with a topic like this... 😁

So, Casey Palmer5, you still sticking to that strict summer body routine, or did you ditch the salads for greasy cheeseburgers like I did?

...it’s really just about that final polish 😁
Those last couple of pounds—the ones that actually "make the difference"—man, I couldn't budge them no matter how hard I crushed it in the gym or how strictly I stuck to my meal prep.

I’m with you there!
By the way—insomnia is actually pretty easy to dodge if you just stop taking Ephedrine after 5 PM.
As for the stomach stuff, you might run into trouble if you overdid it on the Aspirin; personally, I didn't have any issues since I was only sticking to about 100mg.
The only thing was this constant adrenaline rush all day long—I couldn't sit still for even a second.

Kenneth Hernandez67, sorry, I was just messing around... 😘

High blood pressure isn't the only reason why people should stay away from ECA.
You can't have high blood sugar, thyroid issues, or be on antidepressants... but hey, you look healthy and glowing, so you'll probably be just fine.🙂

And you, Twix, seriously, give it a rest...
I spent three months losing weight naturally, and I only used ECA for about seven days.
And before you get ideas, this isn't some commercial for ECA—I just stumbled upon a site that has some interesting articles about different diets and fat burners.
ECA is just one option among many, and just because it's the most effective doesn't mean it's actually healthy.

Jack Kelly5 :
I honestly can't believe people are willing to throw massive piles of cash at this kind of nonsense.
Discipline and willpower would get you way further than any supplement ever could...

Hahaha, "massive piles of cash"... please. Ephedrine isn't exactly breaking the bank, though I guess everyone sees things differently, I suppose...

As for the whole discipline and willpower thing—that’s actually how I dropped 45 pounds, and then used ECA to squeeze out another 5 or so.
If you want the full story, just go back and read my old posts in the "Community Weight Loss Challenge" thread—then you'll actually understand where I'm coming from.
I really don't feel like retyping the whole saga here..... 🙄

Casey Palmer5 said:How can you be so sure you don't have anything going on? For all you know, something could pop up later.

Well, it’s because my doctor looked over my latest blood work and told me I’m perfectly healthy—and honestly, I feel fine too.
Plus, I was being incredibly careful about how much I took and only did it for a really short window of time... though I definitely know people who just crush these things by the handful and seem totally unaffected, which is wild if you think about it.

As if things weren't already messy enough before adding the Ephedrine to the mix...😳 😢
Best fat burners? in Health ·
Go ahead and roll your eyes all you want—honestly, I’m not feeling any side effects from the Ephedrine at all, aside from the fact that my body fat is basically non-existent now.😛 😉

Gary Sanchez said:Besides that—why wouldn't it work for women too? Come on, give me that whole "macho" explanation 🙂
Typical guy mentality... thinking certain things are strictly reserved for them 🙂

Hello... I wasn't actually talking about women, I meant "old ladies"—and by that, I'm looking at you, Kenneth Hernandez67 (even if he's pretty good in bed, he's still an old lady at heart 🙂 )
Man, look, older folks usually struggle with high blood pressure, and in that case, you can just forget about Ephedrine entirely (especially when you mix it with caffeine)

You have to know how to dose ECA properly; besides, it’s nowhere near the only fat burner out there, it's just definitely the most effective.
I've heard stories about people absolutely wrecking their stomach lining because they overdid the aspirin within an ECA stack.
Now I see why they pulled Ephedrine from Xanax and other fat burners—because overweight Americans were dropping dead from it, so now they just use pseudoephedrine instead.
Plus, Ephedrine is still tucked away in some nasal decongestant sprays.
If you guys are too scared to touch it, just stick to L-Carnitine or something similar...

Who dares wins 😎

Kenneth Hernandez67 said:I honestly think it’d be smarter to just embrace how you look and accept your body type 🙂

Embrace it? Are you kidding me? When we're talking about stubborn fat, "acceptance" isn't really an option, is it?

Don't sweat it, though—ECA isn't exactly meant for the faint of heart anyway... 🙂

Alright, if anyone’s actually interested in the truth about fat burners and whether they actually work.
Sometimes—and I mean sometimes—you just have to lean on a little chemistry when the "natural" route isn't cutting it. We all know how that goes. 😉

....but what about ECA?

Get that six-pack or die trying.😈

Consider me a new member of the lazy and depressed club.
I’ve been trying to fight it off with heavy lifting at the gym and long bike rides—you know, the whole "sweat out the sadness" thing.
As for medication? Absolutely NOT. No thanks!
I saw what they did to my buddy 👎

------BIIIYAAAAAAAACH----------

Look, Eminem isn't a singer, he's a rapper, okay?
So, he doesn't actually have to be able to sing... 🙄

In this movie, he totally proved he can act, too—and don't even get me started on the rapping part.
That battle at the end... OH MAN, YES. 🙏

It's been a long time since I actually enjoyed a movie that much. 👍
