Get a load of this ridiculous situation I’ve run into with my insurance provider. It all started back on March 22nd, 3.2022, when I headed down to one of their local branches to file the paperwork to cancel my MetLife policy. Fast forward to a few days ago, and I get a formal notice stating that my request to terminate wasn't actually submitted until April 22nd, 4.2022. What a mess! Since the policy originally kicked off on July 12th, that supposed April date puts me way outside the 90-day window, making it look like I'm trying to cancel everything in 2023 instead.
I gave the lady I worked with at the office a call yesterday to clear this up. She told me she'd check on it and get back to me, so now I'm just sitting here playing the waiting game... though, if I'm being honest, I have a nagging feeling they're just going to brush it off as "my mistake."
Hey everyone, thanks so much for all the advice! I think I'm going to hold off and just be patient until spring rolls around. There's really no point in rushing things while the situation is what it is right now.
Hey everyone! My brother is looking to build a new PC, so he asked me to pop in here and get some advice.
He’s looking for a full setup, including a monitor, geared specifically for 1080p gaming at 144Hz. His budget is $2667.
He’s pretty set on an Intel Core i5-10400, a Dell S2421HS monitor, and a 500GB SSD (though if a 1TB isn't much more, he'd love that instead). He definitely wants an Nvidia card, and as for the case, he doesn't care about aesthetics—just make sure it works well!
Since I know parts can be a bit hit-or-miss with availability lately, do you think it's smarter to wait until spring, or should he just grab whatever is in stock at Best Buy or Micro Center right now?
Thanks in advance!
Hey everyone,
I’ve got an Apple Mi Pad 4 Plus tablet, and I just popped an AT&T SIM card into it so I can stay connected on the go. The problem is, it didn't pick up the network automatically, and now I'm totally stuck trying to figure out how to get the mobile data running.
I actually reached out to AT&T, and they pointed me toward some instructions on their website, but they haven't been much help since I can't seem to find the APN settings anywhere on this tablet.
If anyone knows the trick to fixing this or could point me in the right direction, I would be super grateful!
Thanks in advance! 🙂
It says the BIOS version is P1.60 for both my setup and this Intel Core i5 4440, so that should be all good.
I’ve been playing Diablo lately, and since they optimized the code to take advantage of multi-core processing, I’m starting to suspect my CPU might be the bottleneck. That said, I’ve been keeping an eye on Task Manager, and it rarely hits 100% usage, so I'm also wondering if my GPU is just struggling to keep up.
I have "Dynamic resolution" enabled in Diablo, but I keep running into these massive frame rate drops whenever things get chaotic and there are too many effects on screen. Now I'm stuck wondering—is that the graphics card crying for help, or is it the processor?
My GPU is an MSI GTX 750-Ti 2, which really should be doing okay, right?
Everything is set to low settings at 1080p using DX11.
Will this work with my ASRock H81M-HDS on an 1150 socket?
Does the price seem fair to you guys?
Am I going to need to mess around with a BIOS update or end up reinstalling Windows 10?
Is there anything else I should look into changing?

It’s about $1,400, plus I’ve got a 3-year warranty. And hey, who knows? It might even drop in price over the next month or two...
Regarding the GPU, do you think it’ll bottleneck this CPU? I'm also thinking about bumping up my RAM to 12 GB.
Hey everyone! I could really use some advice on upgrading my budget build. I picked this rig up about three years ago, and honestly, it’s starting to feel its age. My main focus is playing Diablo. I was thinking about grabbing an i5, but I'm torn—should I wait for the next generation to drop so prices settle down? Also, I need to pick up a decent monitor to go with it. My total budget for the CPU and monitor combined is around $450. Thanks in advance! 🙂

Hi everyone,
I picked up a new Dell Inspiron 15 about a year ago, but lately, I've been running into a weird little glitch. Every time I touch the touchpad, the screen goes black for just a couple of seconds. Interestingly, if I plug in a mouse and just stay away from the touchpad entirely, everything works perfectly fine!
I’ve tried digging through Google, but I haven't had much luck finding a solution. Does anyone know if this sounds like a driver issue or if I'm looking at a hardware problem? I'm currently running Windows 8.1.
Thanks so much in advance! 🙂
I totally forgot to mention that I'd rather not go with ATI cards, since they don't really play nice with Path of Exile.
So, which ones would be a good match for the processor I'm running?
Hey everyone! So, about a year ago I posted a pretty similar question, but I ended up holding off on buying anything because I was hoping things would get better/cheaper. Well, here we are again!
-PCI-E
MB: ASRock N68C-S UCC with integrated NVIDIA GeForce GT 730/nForce 630a Chipset
CPU: Intel Core i3 (equivalent class)
MEM: 2GB DDR2 RAM
PSU: ASUS ATLAS 36F 360W
MONITOR: Asus 17'' LCD at 1024x768
Basically, I'm looking for some advice on which graphics card (EDIT: please, nothing from ATI!) would be the best fit for this build. I'm really looking for that sweet spot where it's not too pricey but gives me the most bang for my buck.
To be a bit more broad: if I eventually decide to upgrade my processor (and maybe the RAM if necessary), what kind of CPU + GPU combo would actually work well with my current motherboard and power supply?
It’s super important to me that I can run games like Diablo or World of Warcraft smoothly at 1024x768 resolution.
I've got a budget of up to $333.
Thanks so much for the help, looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

I'm trying to figure out what kind of graphics card would be enough to get Diablo 3 running, even if it's just on low settings at 1024x768 resolution. I'd love to keep the cost under $133 if possible, and please don't suggest anything from Craigslist or similar sites!
Best,
