I guess I'll just have to wait and see how this whole thing plays out... if my skin keeps acting up from that ointment, I'll probably just head over to the doctor and get it checked out...
So I actually went ahead and bought that ointment, but man, it started itching so intensely right away that I had to go wash it all off immediately😁. And the label even mentions that kind of reaction is one of the side effects... honestly, now I’m feeling a bit hesitant about using it at all😁. I might still give it one more shot before heading to bed tonight, though. As for my digestion, constipation isn't really an issue for me—I haven't noticed it affecting anything on that front. Thanks anyway for the help😉
So, it looks like I might be dealing with some hemorrhoid issues myself... about a month ago, I noticed this little soft, elongated bump near my anus, but it wasn't red or anything, and it just kind of cleared up on its own after two or three days. Now, it's popped up again, though it doesn't really hurt—just a bit itchy, if that makes sense. There’s no blood when I go to the bathroom either, and it still looks just like normal skin color. Do you think these are actually hemorrhoids? And should I try using some kind of over-the-counter ointment or something else to get rid of it... I mean, how long does it usually take for them to finally go away? I'll definitely head to see a doctor if things start getting worse, obviously, but I was hoping I could maybe handle this on my own first if it's even possible...

I’m not really familiar with that approach; I haven't heard anyone in my circle mention using that trick... Where could one even find those, and what does it actually look like?
Thanks a lot for the info 😉.
You can find those at Walgreens. They’re usually kept right where they keep the shoe inserts and all that sort of thing. Prices generally run from $8 up to $6.75 depending on which brand you pick. I couldn't seem to track down any good photos online, but here's one I found. I actually used the exact same ones from that company myself once... you just stick them inside the back of the shoe to support the heel (just like the name implies, I guess 😁). http://www.tvrtke.com/zapetak-tips-d...,MF-32423.aspx
When I was picking up my new Timberlands, I ended up grabbing a size seven just so I wouldn't deal with any blisters... since my feet always seem to be stuck in that awkward middle ground where one size is way too big and the next is just tiny... I used to put Band-Aids around my ankles to help with the rubbing, though honestly, it was never quite that bad for me... you really have to wear them constantly though if you want to break them in properly 🙂. Good luck 😉
Does anyone know where I can pick up some Wrangler jeans around town? I know there’s that one shop over in the Galleria, but I was wondering if there are any other spots... maybe somewhere a bit more low-key...
I mean, isn't that exactly why we have this place? To keep everything organized in one single spot... if everyone acted like total slackers, this whole forum would just fall apart, wouldn't it? It feels like the easiest thing in the world for people to just start the exact same thread for the hundredth time, always using that excuse about being too busy or whatever... though even then, I have a feeling this will probably just end up getting moved anyway... 😉
I recently went in for a kidney ultrasound with Dr. Dimanovski, and honestly, I can’t say enough good things about him... he’s just such a genuine, decent person who really went out of his way to help me out, even managing to pull some strings at the hospital where he works so I could get seen ahead of schedule 🙂. As for their OB-GYN services, though, I wouldn't really know because I always go to a different doctor for that kind of thing 🙂. Plus, I wasn't actually at their main clinic in Chicago.
I was just sitting here thinking back to my very first experience, and honestly, it was just straight-up horrific 😁. I spent the entire night bleeding so heavily it felt like someone had actually attacked me... I was up every single hour just swapping out maxi pads, over and over again. And on top of the blood just pouring out like a broken faucet, there were these weird, gelatinous blood clots coming out too 😁. It was so incredibly gross, and just thinking about it now makes me feel physically sick 😁. My gynecologist mentioned that a small number of women deal with complications like that, especially if they happen to be particularly narrow down there. But thankfully, after that whole ordeal, everything went back to normal and I haven't had any issues since 😁.
Dennis Johnson5 said:Hey there! Has anyone here actually gone through an IV urogram? I’m feeling a little anxious because both my primary care doctor and the radiologist mentioned I might be a bit young for this kind of thing... but I already scheduled the appointment, so what am I going to do, cancel now? I guess I'm just wondering how much radiation exposure actually affects things like the ovaries or other organs in that area...
I actually had to get one done when I was about 16 or 17 years old... and honestly, look, any kind of radiation carries some risk, which is why people say you should avoid X-rays and stuff whenever possible, but I've had so many scans over the years that I probably should be in a coma by now, yet here I am, feeling perfectly fine 😁 (well, except for that kidney stone I dealt with 😁). Anyway, they don't just order these tests for no reason, so it's not like it's going to ruin you... and if there's ever a real risk to a specific part of your body, they make sure to use shielding and protection...
