I mean, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this kind of nonsense comes from the rookies, but things feel even messier with Pierre Gasly involved, since he’s at least been around the block a few times.
Sam Thomas3 said:I was just sitting here watching this video, and honestly, I can't quite wrap my head around how things are moving lately, though I guess that’s just how it goes sometimes. It feels like everything is shifting so fast, you know? One minute you think you've got a handle on the rhythm of things, and then suddenly, everything just pivots. I don't know, maybe I'm just overthinking it, but there's something about the way this all unfolds that feels almost inevitable, if that makes any sense. It's kind of wild when you really stop to look at the details, because most people probably just skim right over them, but if you hang out for a bit, you start seeing those little patterns emerging. It’s funny, really, how much can change without anyone even noticing until it's already happened. Anyway, I guess that's just my two cents on it.
I mean, I guess Yuki thinks he’s driving a snowplow out there or something. There’s honestly no other way to explain that move.
Donna Harris11 said:The Anglo-Americans shouldn't be barking at China for no reason; they know deep down their military and economic dominance is on its way out.
Now they’re supposedly acting all worried about Taiwan.
That's why they're cooking up things like AUKUS, spreading rumors, making local pacts to surround China—and lately, they've been waging this disgusting propaganda war.
Luckily, we probably won't see those Soros-style color revolutions here. I guess Chinese people aren't some easy targets like they were in Eastern Europe.
Honestly, it sounds like a bedtime story. I mean, neither China nor anyone else on the planet is going to be able to challenge US military dominance for the next xxx years, I guess. Experience, sheer knowledge, massive stockpiles, doctrine, technology, geography... everything is just stacked in their favor. They’re smooth operators who always seem to stay one step ahead of everyone else. If their dominance ever actually gets threatened, that's when things will truly get messy.
So, a few weeks go by and you realize the Mexican delusions just aren't fading anytime soon. They actually think Vlad the Great is going to finally take down the West and hand them some unshakeable VKK border, at which point they'll probably throw a parade and toss their American imitation into the trash. Anyway, let them keep dreaming, nisteniprije.

I was just reading that there's actually a massive wave of millions of migrants heading from the EU toward Russia right about now.
Kudos to Pérez, though Ferrari staying silent is just classic them. It’s a real shame it didn't pour a bit more once they made the switch to slicks. A race you'd rather forget, I guess.
Ashley Ramirez4 said:No way. Even the old legends wouldn't be able to drive these modern cars through those puddles on part of the track... they'd basically turn into boats before they finished.
Oh, come on now, even the old beasts were absolute monsters with heaps of turbo power and they managed to drive through the rain just fine. I mean, you aren't hitting 150 mph, maybe more like 80, and you aren't braking 400 feet late instead of 250. If someone isn't capable of handling that, well, what are they even doing in Formula 1?
It’s honestly kind of wild to me that a handful of the world's elite drivers seemingly can't handle a race when it actually starts raining. Like, I mean, just keeping the car under control at maybe 50-60% capacity, using wet tires, staying in lower gears... it shouldn't be that hard, right? Are they really just that overrated, to the point where most regular people probably wouldn't even finish the race?
Timothy Castillo6 said:So, anyway, who here actually has a decent setup for the rain?
I mean, what's even the point if you aren't going to ride in the rain anyway? People start acting like the world is ending just because there's a tiny bit of drizzle outside. Just typical Instagram snowflakes.
Ashley Ramirez4 said:You seem like one of those people who’d still be arguing the same point even after everyone else ended up wrapped around a tree. And honestly? What's even the point of driving 40 damn miles per hour... that's not really a race.
Exactly. If nobody is actually capable of finishing the race given how bad the conditions are, then nobody gets points, or they just get whatever the rulebook says they should. We're talking about guys making millions of dollars based purely on their driving skills in a sport worth billions of bucks. So, I guess, what's even the point of having wet weather tires? And why bother having two different types of them, too?
Ashley Ramirez4 said:Man, you clearly haven't seen the standing water out there—even SC had issues and they weren't even pushing it.
Like, I’m just saying again, let them check the car, that’s literally what they get paid for. If 60 mph feels like too much for you, then maybe just cruise at 30, I guess.
vividwalker13 said:The top-tier drivers were competing right here in the States just last month. We watched them deal with heavy rain and thick fog, and yet, once again, the second fastest driver on the grid had to pull out. Safety First.
Alright, but yeah, I probably wouldn't compare the roads at Platko to the streets of Monaco.
Buhaha, the track is totally soaked so racing is off. I wonder what's next, maybe they'll just scrap the cars entirely and host an Xbox championship instead? What a complete joke.
stormybadger8 said:I mean, what kind of absolute junk pile are we even talking about here? It’s just the usual nonsense from the tabloid media, and then you’ve got those naive fans who just swallow everything whole without a second thought. I guess it's just part of the cycle, really. 🤦 I mean, calling the Mercedes-Benz anything other than a high-performance machine is just wrong... it’s definitely not some clunky tractor, that's for sure. Honestly, it wouldn't even surprise me if it turned out to be something else entirely, I guess. I mean, honestly, it’s pretty obvious which one is just hands down the fastest car on the grid right now... I guess you could even say it's not really a debate at all. I mean, one thing’s pretty much a given at this point—Mercedes-Benz is definitely going to be snatching up maybe one or two wins this season, I guess... it's really just a toss-up as to which driver actually ends up standing on top of that podium first. I mean, there's really no question about it, honestly. It’s pretty much a given.
The Mercedes is a fast car, I mean, there's no denying that, but honestly? It seems incredibly temperamental to drive right now. It’s just such a finicky beast, you know? But hey, if they can actually get their act together, I guess there's a chance it might even outperform Red Bull Racing or Ferrari once those teams really start settling into their stride. Maybe. I mean, there’s this one massive downside right now, which is that they're getting absolutely killed by all that bouncing, and I guess that's just straight-up murdering their top speed. I mean, they’re basically just messing around with the setup at this point since they can't seem to get it right, and honestly, the car is bouncing like crazy no matter what they try. It feels like it's always just a question of whether the bouncing is slightly less violent or if it's going to be absolutely soul-crushing for the driver... I guess it all just comes down to how much it's actually messing with their head. I mean, honestly, they’ll probably just sort it out eventually, I guess. And then, the second they actually fix whatever's going on, suddenly everyone's going to be acting like the car setup is some kind of magical masterpiece and Mercedes-Benz will magically turn into an absolute rocket ship overnight...
stormybadger8 said:Man, talk about an underwhelming list of achievements... I mean, you look at those stats and it’s just kind of hard to wrap your head around how anyone could call that impressive, I guess. It’s all just a bit much to take in, maybe. I mean, you’ve pretty much got the fastest car on the grid right now, I guess.Either Ricc absolutely crushes the competition, or he just manages to trip over his own feet and somehow stumbles right into a win... I guess we'll see which one it is. 🙂
Honestly, praising him is kind of like being obsessed with Lewis Hamilton, because, I mean, let's be real—he just managed to land on the podium in every single race he actually finished during that 2014 Mercedes-Benz season, which was basically just riding that absolute beast of a car. 🙂 Look, I’m not saying Max isn't a damn good driver—he definitely is—but if you gave that car to at least 30% of the guys on the grid, they'd probably pull off something decent, maybe even more, I guess. So, when people start throwing around those massive titles like "greatest of all time" or "best ever" or whatever else, it feels a bit much, honestly. It's just hard to fully buy into the hype when the machinery is doing such a heavy lift.
I mean, you should probably just sit down and figure out who you actually are first, I guess. I mean, if you look at the grid right now, there’s really just one car that stands out as being the absolute fastest thing on the track, I guess... just by a mile. Once that’s all over, I guess everything will finally start making sense to you. 😬
I guess I still haven't quite wrapped my head around how Mercedes just... vanished. Like, going from that absolute masterclass finish back in 2021 to this kind of total meltdown? It’s honestly wild.
I guess I'm just siding with Max Lewis here. 🤦 I mean, looking back at last year, Lewis absolutely ran circles around them. Yeah, sure, everyone wants to say it was all down to driver skill...
cosmicridge5 said:I mean, I guess I’m also pretty stoked for Bottas. 🙏
Man, I can't even begin to wrap my head around the kind of absolute magic you'd be able to pull off if you were actually sitting behind the wheel of a competitive car. It's wild to think about, really. I guess I'd probably just spend half my time staring at the telemetry in disbelief, or maybe just losing my mind because the sheer pace would be something else entirely. You’d be out there doing things that seem physically impossible, I suppose. Just pure, unadulterated chaos in the best way possible. 😬
