The King of Rock left us nearly 50 years ago... and now the Queen has joined him. I really hope they’re both in a better place now...
She left behind such an incredible musical legacy, and just like all the greats, she’ll live on through her work.

Thanks for the tip.
Hey everyone.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a solid gastroenterologist in Chicago? I had an amazing one back at Rib, but he finally retired.
Private clinics are fine too. Feel free to shoot me a DM.

Go find that old Prince segment on YouTube where Williams was interviewing someone from the Sanitation Department. It might give you some much-needed perspective on what these people actually do for a living. 😉
Yeah, the old guard definitely got jobs as janitors... obviously, we're talking about the "low-level" connections...
I personally know two people who landed cleaning gigs at Waste Management through a connection. And if that's the case even for the "bottom tier" roles...
It doesn't mean they aren't hard workers now...but yeah, they definitely got those jobs through nepotism.

Alright, thanks. I was only asking because I thought maybe you could vouch for one of the doctors.
Anyway, thanks.

Thanks... you actually have personal experience with a proctologist near Amruseva, or what?
Hey everyone.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a solid proctologist (or maybe a good clinic) in New York City?
Thanks in advance.
Hey everyone...
Does anyone have a recommendation—or maybe some firsthand experience—for a good gastroenterologist in Chicago? Honestly, there’s zero chance I’ll get an appointment at the hospital anytime soon given how things are right now, so if I’m going to pay for a private specialist, I want to make sure they're actually good.
Thanks in advance.

They do. I actually talked to my family doctor about it... but trust me, you don't want to hear when the earliest available appointment at the hospital is.
Hey everyone.
Does anyone know an ophthalmologist or a clinic in Washington, D.C. that does house calls? I'm looking for someone who can come to the patient, since they have major mobility issues and can't really get out of the house.
Thanks in advance for any leads.
Thanks for all the input, everyone... 🙂
Hey everyone.
I've got this ancient drive lying around—it’s about 15 years old, a Seagate 80GB ATA/133 HDD. It was working fine right up until my motherboard bit the dust. I'm wondering if I can just hook it up as an external drive to my current PC. I know external enclosures exist, but since this thing is such a relic (pretty sure it’s running Windows 98), I’m not entirely sure if that'll even work.
Also, any tips on how to check if the drive is even still alive?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Hey there
Where can I find my IP address in Windows XP?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Hey everyone...
I won't go on forever about Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome.
Nowadays, you can actually fix WPW through catheter ablation. From what I know, they've done this procedure quite a bit over at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
I'll leave it at that for now, but if you want more details (to the best of my knowledge, obviously 🙂), just shoot me a DM.
Hey everyone!
I could use some advice. Like most people here, I'm looking to pick up a card that actually works for online shopping. Any recommendations on which one I should grab?
Right now, I've just got a Maestro card tied to my checking account.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Hey!
Based on what you’re describing, it sounds like you might be dealing with GERD. There’s actually an open thread about GERD right here on the forum if you want to check it out. You shouldn't mess around with this stuff, so I’d really suggest seeing a doctor. From the symptoms you mentioned, GERD seems like the most likely culprit.
Either way, go talk to your GP. They'll probably end up referring you to a gastroenterologist anyway.
I’m dealing with the exact same thing. Since you already have a diagnosis, I’m assuming you’ve seen a GI specialist. If you haven't, make that your top priority. As for diet, there isn't some big secret or magic fix. Everyone who deals with this is going to tell you the same stuff: eat smaller meals more often, figure out which specific foods trigger you, and if a doctor gave you meds, stick to them. Unfortunately, there’s no permanent cure for GERD—it just fluctuates. Some days are rougher than others. I know how much it sucks because I struggle with eating too, and I'm pretty thin. Maybe someone else here has some smarter advice or a better tip to share.
I know I probably didn't help much, but...
Hey!
Anyone here actually tried chiropractic work? I'm thinking about booking an appointment, but honestly, I have no clue where to start. If you’ve been through it or have any solid recommendations...
I'm looking mainly in the Washington, D.C. area.
thanks
You can get it done at Mercury. It’ll run you about $100, and you’ll get the results back the same day. Total time for the whole thing—testing and all—is roughly an hour to an hour and a half. Not sure how other places handle it, but that's just my experience. It doesn't hurt, it just stings your wallet a bit...🙂
