And don't even get me started on how none of the mods actually participate in discussions or contribute anything at all to the community. I mean, seriously, look at their post counts from the last month. Not a single one!

There are plenty of candidates from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, and I could go on forever.

Can we please just make some changes to breathe life back into this place? Honestly, any change would be better than watching this slow death we're currently experiencing.

Thanks

I totally agree with what was said, mostly because Katherine isn't really doing her job as a moderator. I've tried pointing out issues with how discussions are handled and the general lack of understanding of what this forum is about before, but nothing changed. What she’s actually managed to do is drive away the hundreds of people who were originally interested in just following along with PDF Canada; they ended up starting a Wok Holiday page on Facebook instead. Now, all the actual discussions happen there—even about the most trivial things involving Canada... I mean, you can even talk about your Canadian pets over there. I guess I should thank the forum for that, though, because it made Facebook way more fun and lively, and I actually managed to meet some people in person because of it. Also, what this site clearly doesn't get is that as visitor numbers drop, so will the ad revenue from those tiny little banners they decided to grace us with on the side. And most importantly, once I've wasted enough time dealing with stupid stories run by people who barely know how to manage PHP, I'll just shut this whole forum down for good...

I’m starting this new thread because I really wanted to chat a bit about this whole agritourism thing... I mean, I spent way too much time surfing the web, and honestly, I couldn't find any decent takes on it anywhere. So, I figured I'd just start a conversation here and hopefully, we can get some good ideas flowing.👍

So, we went on an outing today and ended up paying an extra $15 to get out of there, even though I'd already picked up a voucher through a group chat worth $30... basically, I spent about $35 just to get five cevapi, a slice of pork, some bacon, and sausage (that was part of the voucher deal via their service)... then on top of that, there was a soda, half a liter of sparkling water, five slices of bread, soup for two, chicken nuggets, fries, and some pretty intense rice (that’s where that extra $15 went)... Honestly, I’m not even mad about getting ripped off like that, if I’m being real, I kind of wanted to 🙂🙂🙂:asshole:.. but yeah, they didn't spot me doing anything crazy that fast....
I mean, the concept sounds great, but it’s like typical American behavior—something always goes sideways and then everyone starts pinching pennies on everything. It turns into that whole "selling your soul for a nickel" vibe... (yeah, yeah, I know, prices are high, blah blah blah).
Anyway, if you actually want to see a deer, take a quick five-minute carriage ride, and buzz past a stinky lake that attracts every mosquito in the state, go for it! go go go!🤣..
Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me!🧐
