Let me say it one more time: Xica is plenty☕

Word on the street is Lana Jurčević might be hitting the stage at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this year 🎉

Laugh it up while you can
Just wait until this whole festival mess kicks off in the city, then you'll be crying 😉
And once you realize Coachella isn't even anywhere near where we're headed, you'll be begging to go back to the original lineup next year 😛
I don't think I'm heading to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this year

It’s just a bunch of emo performers 🤮

I guess I'll just settle for some rock shows and Lollapalooza for the season😳

Parking near the arena by MIT, in the yellow zone! Since when did they start charging there again?

It was like this before—they put an meter in there a while back and started collecting fees until the employees from the nearby companies basically staged a revolt.
The meter is still there, but everyone knows you're supposed to be able to park there for free.

Anyway, I parked there today, looked around, and didn't see a single car with a permit. And of course, I get slapped with a ticket.

Now I’m wondering if anyone actually knows how their system works (even though I can tell I'm going to have to pay this shady holding company), because it makes no sense to charge people sporadically like this.

If I had known they were enforcing it, I would've just paid for an hour or two. It's not like I ever forget to pay or rush past; I actually intended to pay today, but then I remembered the whole "you don't have to pay here" thing, so I just parked without paying.
It's probably some shady holding company playing games with people since the lot is always packed, yet nobody has a ticket and there aren't even any pedestrians around—meanwhile, the lot right in front of MIT is half empty with plenty of walkers.

Give me some advice other than "just pay it," though honestly, I'll probably end up paying this crap I've been avoiding forever.
Serves me right. 😁
Honestly, I had an even better time at the Hip Hop sets. Even though I didn't have a raincoat and got totally soaked, it was still a blast 😁

Actually, I messed up and ended up catching three songs by Sons & Daughters, which were actually pretty decent. Then I headed home to change and made it back just in time for Stereo MCs, who were kind of gay.

After that, it was Prodigy.
Just like at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, there was this massive crowd of idiots busy filming everything or posting on their sticks instead of actually enjoying the show (but hey, that's always how it goes at these big-deal events). Whatever, good for them if they're having fun in their own way. I jumped around a bit for a few tracks and that was about it. I wasn't exactly blown away—maybe I just had too high expectations, thinking I’d be floating on air the second they started playing or something.

As for the after-party following Prodigy, there was nothing anywhere that looked interesting enough to make me stick around at the festival.

Final summary: the first day was a million times better than the second. Honestly, I would’ve paid the full amount just for that first day alone.
absolute maniac 🤣
After last night's set, I gotta say—Kanye has absolutely no business being at a festival like this. It was such a massive chore listening to him while being crushed in that mosh pit that I just bailed to go chill and discover some random music I'd never even heard before.
Honestly, just let him play to the crowds while they squeeze together, and I’ll head over to the other stage where the best band from day one of Coachella was playing without half the people there.

Seun Kuti and Egypt 80 were easily my highlights from yesterday.

Oh, and the best part was when everyone headed over to the let Love in :SSSSS tent. I thought about joining, but then I heard Dred슨se playing and decided to stick around there instead—total win. It wasn't packed at first, but once the tent filled up, it was still easy enough to vibe and jump around.🤣

Anyway, as I was heading back home, I saw how insane the crowd at let Love in :SSSSS had gotten and honestly? Just thank God for the people who actually enjoy being packed in like sardines, because I'm perfectly happy with the spot I had just twenty seconds away.🙂😉

P.S.
Don't come for the MIT nerds, I'm one of them.😠
You guys are gonna regret it.🤣 😂 🤣
