Is anyone else getting bored with the same old BBQ dessert options?

I feel like every time we host a cookout, we end up serving the exact same thing. It’s always watermelon slices or maybe some store-bought ice cream sandwiches if we’re feeling fancy. It’s fine, don't get me wrong, but after a few summers in a row, it starts to feel a bit repetitive and honestly kind of uninspired.
I’ve been thinking lately about how much potential there is to use the grill for more than just burgers and ribs. I tried playing around with some fruit a couple of weeks ago, and it really changed the vibe of the whole meal. There's something about that subtle charred flavor that makes a dessert feel much more "gourmet" without needing to spend three hours in the kitchen while everyone else is outside hanging out.
I'm looking to shake things up this year and actually impress a few people. Does anyone have any go-to tricks for using the grill to level up a dessert, or are we all just stuck in a cycle of melting chocolate in bananas?
