Nothing came in the box at all. 😠 I suppose I'll just head down to a local Best Buy tomorrow and pick up a female-to-male DVI adapter myself.

By the way, I think I finally unlocked the 4th core... found a guide online, enabled it in the BIOS, and now the OS reports four cores, though I have no idea when I'll actually notice the difference...🤷 😁

Yeah, that converter is pretty much my only option... my TV is just way too massive for me to actually get anything done on it; everything feels awkward and out of proportion.

I tried plugging and unplugging everything, and now it’s working—turns out something just wasn't seated quite right after I cleared things out a bit. We'll see how this card holds up over time, but thanks to everyone for the advice.🙂

edit: It really bugs me that there isn't a proper slot available, especially since there's still some empty space left, even though the spec sheet explicitly mentions a VGA port exists🙄 now I have to go hunting all over town because it seems like you can't find one in any of the major Best Buy locations.🙄

Picked up a new card, but I'm already running into walls. There isn't a single VGA port to be found, just HDMI and two DVI slots. My monitor only accepts VGA, so I figured I’d just try hooking it up to my TV with an HDMI cable instead. That’s where things fell apart—no signal at all. The fan on the graphics card is spinning away just fine, but the TV remains completely blank...

If this graphics card holds its own, I’d probably stick with it through my next upgrade, which will likely be a CPU swap... I noticed you mentioned one in the link, $50 it's a bit cheaper, but the price difference isn't enough to make me pass on this one if it actually has some longevity. I didn't unlock anything because I don't really know my way around that stuff, so if it's a simple enough procedure I can handle it myself, but if not, would a local repair shop be able to take care of it, and is it even worth the trouble?

Ever since I started playing SWTOR in windowed mode, 😬 the FPS counter turns red, which apparently suggests my graphics card is struggling...

So, is this card actually up to the task? I'd grab it if it's truly some kind of best buy...

I took a look ahead of schedule, though the only thing I can tell you about the power supply is that it says Xilence on it; there isn't any wattage rating listed... 😢 There’s roughly a 30-watt difference between what I have now and the one you suggested, which should be plenty... 🤷

Ah, the power supply. The issue is there isn't a single label on it, no visible markings, nothing at all. Is it even possible to estimate the wattage based on the components already listed here? My current setup pulls about 50W, or at least that's what the specs online suggest. The PSU is likely 400W, maybe 500W... I'll try to poke around and get a better look once I'm home tonight. If not, I could always just grab a new graphics card that doesn't demand quite so much juice, I'm sure there are plenty out there... 🤣

This is the motherboard I'm running; currently using an ATI Radeon HD 4670. The CPU is an AMD Athlon II X3 455, though I'm not entirely sure how much that factors into the equation...

Fine, maybe it wasn't 50 yards, perhaps it was less; maybe the official ball had a different mass than the one we were using, though that seems unlikely, I suppose... Look, I’m ready to stand in front of the FBI headquarters and take a shot at you from 20 yards away, and it never even crosses my mind that you wouldn't be able to hit me from that same distance without any trouble at all...
