Hi everyone,
Lately, I’ve been dealing with some occasional cloudy urine at the end of urination, especially when I haven't been drinking enough fluids. This used to happen back when I was younger, so I didn't panic initially, but I've started feeling a slight ache or discomfort around my right kidney area, which prompted me to see a doctor. My urinalysis came back normal, but my creatinine was slightly elevated (the reference range is 64-106, and mine was 110). My urea and PSA levels both look fine.
Do you think there's any reason to be concerned?
Thanks in advance.

I'm actually looking for a maxillofacial plastic surgeon myself. If anyone happens to have found someone reliable, I’d really appreciate it if you could let me know.
I've heard that Uglešić is top-tier, so if you can look past the whole student situation, he might be a pretty good choice. If you don't mind traveling out to the Mayo Clinic in San Francisco, Cerovic—who performed the jaw surgery on Damir Kedza—should also be a solid option.
So, I’ve run into a bit of a dilemma, mostly because I didn't stop to think things through when I should have.
I sent off a certified package (just a local shipment within NYC) in a blue envelope.
The issue is that I only relied on the adhesive that was already on the envelope itself; I didn't add any extra tape or anything to reinforce it. Since the envelope had been sitting around my house for quite a while, I suspect the glue might have lost some of its strength. When I sealed it, it felt secure enough, so I didn't really give it a second thought. The clerk at the post office took it, processed the payment, and that was that.
Later on, it finally clicked that I hadn't used any additional tape to secure the flap, and now I'm wondering—what if the contents actually fall out? How are these things handled during transit?
Do they tend to handle mail somewhat gently, or is it more of a "toss it in the truck" kind of situation? If something were to fall out, would anyone notice and try to return it? I mean, what happens if the recipient just receives an empty envelope? Does the clerk usually add extra tape when you hand it over? And if the envelope arrives empty, am I actually eligible for any kind of reimbursement?
It’s a slightly awkward situation, but I’d appreciate it if anyone could weigh in or share their own experiences.
Have you ever found yourself fidgeting with a pen during a lecture just because you were bored out of your mind?
If you have, then you know it can actually be pretty entertaining.
Nowadays, there’s even an entire community on YouTube dedicated to this.
It’s basically the skill of twirling a pen with one hand while ensuring it never loses contact with your fingers.
They even hold world championships for it.
There are about five fundamental tricks that serve as the foundation for countless variations and complex combos.
Some of those moves take months of practice to nail down.
Maybe give it a quick search online; you might realize how much fun—and surprisingly addictive—this seemingly mindless hobby can be.
I’ve managed to pick up two tricks so far, though I have to admit, it feels incredibly awkward to pull out a pen and start showing off during a math lecture.
The idea of someone doing this professionally seems a bit silly to me, but as a way to pass the time, it’s actually great. 🙂
I suppose I should probably weigh in on this, though I’m not entirely sure if my perspective carries much weight here. Looking at the current situation, it feels like we’re all just circling the same drain, waiting to see which way the wind blows. It’s hard to say for certain where things are headed, but I guess there’s a certain predictability to the chaos if you look closely enough. Maybe I'm being too cynical, or perhaps I'm just seeing the patterns that others tend to overlook in the rush to reach a conclusion. It seems to me that most of the noise being generated right now is just that—noise. If we take a step back, we might find that the actual substance of the issue is much quieter than everyone is making it out to be. Not that I'm claiming to have the definitive answer; I think we're all still largely guessing, really. kaže:
I picked up a copy of the Daily News at the newsstand in the city square—I can't quite recall exactly how much I dropped on it, to be honest. As for whether it’s actually any good, I guess it's hard to say for sure. 🤷
I suppose I'll be watching.👍👍

Most bookstores just carry those cheap, mass-market paperbacks...
Does anyone know where I might be able to pick up a decent technical pen around here in the States?
