So, I'm trying to use this LG DVD Writer, and it was totally fine at first—plugged it into my PC and it recognized it immediately. But now, a few days later, it’s just acting up and won't show up at all. It seems to be getting power from the computer, though. I'm running Windows 8.1, so I'm wondering if I accidentally messed something up? Maybe I need to reinstall a driver or something? Does anyone have any idea what might be going on?

Well, Google Drive comes with Microsoft Office integration, so you can pretty much build and edit docs right there. Dropbox doesn't really do that. Plus, Drive gives you 15 GB to play with, whereas Dropbox is way smaller if you're just looking at the standard free tier without any weird promos or whatever.

So, I'm currently setting up Dropbox on all the computers and smartphones for everyone who needs access to certain files. I just uploaded an Excel spreadsheet to Dropbox, but now I'm stuck—how am I supposed to actually edit it?
Do I seriously have to download the file every single time I want to change something, then re-upload it to Dropbox just so everyone else can see the updates? Or is there a way to just fill it out online if the computer or phone already has the right software installed? I'm trying to make things faster for the crew out in the field—they need to be able to find the doc in Dropbox, plug in the data, and hit "save" so it automatically stays right where they found it...

Hey, I could really use some help here. I’m looking at one of those software bundles and man, the price tag is pretty steep, but I actually need several of them for my office setup. I'm just wondering how the whole thing works—do I have to buy a separate license for every single computer, or is there some kind of bulk discount available if I'm buying more than one?

So, I was thinking about grabbing my own router. People keep telling me that a modem and a router aren't actually the same thing, and they say I could just pick up some universal router that works regardless of which ISP I'm using or what kind of modem I have. If my internet connection itself is solid, is doing this actually a good move? Or is it one of those "quick fix" solutions that ends up being a total headache later on...

Hey, I could really use some advice here. So, I’m currently on a basic plan with Xfinity and using their wired modem. I’m looking to make the switch over to wireless, but I was wondering if I could just go out and buy my own modem instead of paying that monthly rental fee to them every single month. Ideally, I’d love to pick up something universal—you know, a modem I can just take with me regardless of which provider I use down the road. When I asked about it, they told me it wasn't really an option because most providers prefer you to use their specific hardware, but I'm thinking maybe they're just wrong? Is it actually true that one modem can work just as well across different service providers, or is there some catch I'm missing? I guess I just want to save a few bucks if possible.

When I was asking about Sedlar, I wasn't really looking to debate how good his filmmaking actually is. It’s more about the themes he tackles in his movies, which—if you ask me—is probably the biggest issue we're facing here in America today. And, just to clarify, I’m actually looking for where to find his documentaries, not his feature films like *The Land*, *My Love*, or those ones about American historical figures. I'm specifically talking about stuff like that recent one about Zlatko Sudac and others, where he feels free to speak openly about the Homeland War and American history.
