Some viruses come with high fevers, too, but that doesn't mean it's the flu.
It’s totally normal to feel like garbage when you're running a high temperature.
Is he dealing with muscle aches? Or maybe a headache?
Honestly, it doesn't really matter right now—the remedy is the same. Drink plenty of fluids (not hot ones), get some Vitamin C, and take something to bring that fever down.

How can you be sure it's the flu? Maybe it's just some other minor virus?
Just head over to your primary care doctor, and they can give you a referral for a psychiatrist or go straight to a psychotherapist. With that referral, you’ve got plenty of options to choose from wherever you want.

Forget about the nickname!👍

One therapy session right here in New York City costs $67. And she goes at least once a week. If I remember correctly, she was actually going twice a week at first when things were really hitting the fan.
You can see a psychiatrist, psychologist, or psychotherapist—just like any other doctor—at a clinic if you have a referral from your primary care physician!

Unfortunately, I only have a couple of people I can actually talk to. And even then, it’s limited—I’ll share certain things, but never anything involving my family. None of my friends really know what I’m going through or how much I'm struggling.
The truth is, I feel an overwhelming sense of shame about it.
If I keep going like this, I'm probably headed for a psychiatrist.
Why the hesitation toward seeing a psychiatrist? Honestly, a good therapist could make a world of difference for you, especially if you find it hard to open up even to your close friends.
