Dealing with pollen and dust allergies...
in Health ·
Hey everyone!
So, I've been dealing with this brutal allergy for about three years now that feels just like a constant cold. I'm talking stuffy nose, non-stop sneezing, a runny nose, and even light sensitivity. I suspect it might be ragweed, though the timing doesn't quite line up with when it usually blooms. Honestly, my laziness regarding getting tested has finally hit a limit, so I'm heading to the doctor tomorrow with my referral.
I'm betting it's a dust allergy.
Anyway, I wanted to ask—if they find out I'm allergic to pollen, dust, pet dander, or something else, is there actually any medication that helps ease the symptoms? Maybe that's too broad, so let me rephrase: have they developed effective drugs for most allergies, or am I stuck with a lifetime supply of tissues?
