So, after being away from the mats for about two years now—just taking a long break, you know how it goes—I’m looking to get back into the swing of things and start training MMA. I was wondering if anyone could point me toward some solid gyms in the area?
I’m living on the West Side of the city, so being on the West Side would definitely be a huge plus for me—places like near the old industrial districts or the western suburbs... anything in those neighborhoods?
Just to be clear, I’m not looking to go pro or step into a cage for competition—that’s not really my speed—but I do want to train properly, with good technique. I'm aiming for at least three sessions a week, though honestly, if I find a place I love, doing five or six days wouldn't be an issue for me at all.
Can anyone recommend a high-quality MMA club on the West Side?
Thanks!
