And what kind of damage are we talking about, roughly?

Look, you can't just ask for a "stick" and expect an answer. It’s like walking into a custom auto shop and saying, "Hey, I need a car," without mentioning if you want a Ford F-150 or a Tesla.
What thickness are we talking? What’s your budget? Do you need it laminated? What kind of wood grain? How fast do you need this thing? Give me some specifics.

Shoot me a DM with the details, then we'll talk.😁

By the way, there actually is a specific type of wood you can use to make a BO that’s practically unbreakable. I’ve tested it myself. It’s incredible—once you "break it in" properly, the wood settles, and it won't warp or bend on you ever again.

Is there a club in Washington, D.C. where you can practice medieval swordplay or any other kind of weaponry (sword and shield, axes, spears)? I tried reaching out to the Dragon group but haven't heard back; apparently, they're just a student organization. Back when I was actually in college... man, things were different...

There is, shoot me a DM or an email and I'll point you in the right direction since I'm not sure if they even have a website anymore.

I used to make wooden training swords for them and for the Dragon, though the Dragon focuses more on stage combat—you know, the theatrical stuff—whereas these other guys really try to get into the actual heart of the technique.🙂
