I figured I'd just post this here instead of starting a whole new thread.
Right now, I’m stuck using a Canon Pixma iP1600. The thing that drives me absolutely insane is how much it constantly whirs and grinds before it actually does anything; it takes forever just to get started. I’m looking to pick up a new printer that won't break the bank—something that starts printing immediately without all that useless pre-print noise/preparation, and ideally, something with affordable ink or replacement cartridges.
I’m not sure if I’m explaining the constant spinning/noise issue clearly enough. If you guys aren't following what I mean, I can just grab my phone and film it for you.
I'm not actually using it; I just set it up that way so I could take some screenshots.
I can't say I'm thrilled about that rule. It’s not a dealbreaker—I need to see if it actually feels like the movies or not—but there's still this nagging feeling in the back of my mind that bugs me.

Is this actually a defect? And if so, do you think they'll agree to a replacement?
Can anyone recommend some Shotokan, Aikido, Kyokushin, Kung Fu, or Gōjū-ryū clubs outside of downtown Chicago? I’m looking specifically in areas like the West Side, Cicero, or anywhere stretching down toward the South Side.

I did some digging. They actually pull in quite a few solid results at competitions.
They just don't list their rates, and there’s absolutely nothing regarding BJJ under the "Groups" link. If you aren't sure, let me know and I'll reach out to them to get the details.
I’m coming from over by Volovčice, so it’s quite a trek for me... Is it actually worth making the trip just to train there? If I have to commute two hours every single day, I need to know it's going to be worth my while!
My current license still has five days left, but I've tried entering the new ones that just came out and none of them are working. I keep getting hit with the exact same error message every single time...
I've been using those licenses that end in TRIAL-*******—just grabbing a new one every month—and it’s worked fine for a few months now, but suddenly everything is starting to glitch out on me.
