Monitor went black mid-game 😁 — what now? in IT Support ·
So, I was right in the middle of gaming when my monitor just went black—like, the picture totally vanished. The game audio is still playing fine, my hard drive is making its usual clicking sounds, and all the fans are spinning up without any issues. When I tried restarting, I could see the BIOS splash screen for a moment, and then once Windows 7 loaded, the mouse pointer flickered on for about a second before everything went dark again. Even when I try booting into Safe Mode, I can't see a thing. 😁 My setup is an older build with a Gigabyte motherboard, a GeForce 660, running Windows 7, and the tower itself is probably about 8 years old now. Any help would be appreciated. Right now, I’m thinking maybe I should tear the whole thing apart and blow out the dust, though I have a feeling that might not actually fix this.
So, what I'm really trying to figure out is how one would actually go about deciding where and how to tell the system to load up that second chunk of the document, maybe from row 65000 through to 80000?
I think I'm running into a bit of an issue while trying to import a .txt file into Excel.

The file is pretty large, with about 80,000 rows, and since I'm using Office 2003, I guess Excel just can't handle the whole thing at once; it seems to load roughly 65,000 lines and then gives me this message suggesting I import the rest onto a new sheet.

So, when I start the data import process and navigate to the file path, the first window—the one where I specify the 852 docs—asks me which row I want to start importing from, and even though I try typing in 65,000, it keeps giving me an error message as if that specific row doesn't even exist.

It feels like I might be doing something wrong here, 😁 so if anyone could maybe point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate the help. 🙂

I mean, they’ve seriously lost it, they really need to bring back the A la carte menu! 🙂🙂
Dealing with hemorrhoids in Health ·
My husband is dealing with some external hemorrhoids right now, and they’ve started bleeding again lately, so I was wondering if it might be okay for him to go on our trip to the hot springs, or if we should probably just postpone everything for a bit. He's been pretty diligent about applying his cream regularly, though.
Maybe you could try some pralines—possibly from K+—along with those original Belgian shells, if that sounds good to you.
Timothy Nguyen, I think I might be more of a savory snack addict than anything else, because honestly, just one bag of Flamin' Hot Cheetos makes me feel like the happiest person on the planet, though I suppose our local options here at home just don't quite measure up to the imported stuff, if you know what I mean.
Daily water intake: Let's discuss in Health ·
I’m sorry if this topic has already been brought up before.
I was wondering why everyone seems to insist that people on a diet—or honestly, just anyone really—need to drink such massive amounts of water? I know someone following a meal plan should probably aim for at least two liters a day, which is fine, but I guess I'm just curious about the actual reasoning behind it. I asked my doctor about it, and she just kind of told me, "Well, you have to," without really explaining the science. So, I was hoping maybe someone could explain what exactly water does for our bodies (besides just quenching thirst 🤣) and why it's supposedly so vital in those large quantities when you're trying to lose weight, other than just filling up the stomach to stave off hunger
