Don't throw your money away.
Get tested so you actually know what you're fighting. Use a spray and rinse with saline first—think of it like building a physical barrier so the allergens can't even touch your nasal receptors.
My situation is actually this: during spring and summer, if I'm not taking Claritin and some kind of spray, I can't function... I mean, sneezing, itching, runny nose... the meds I use help a ton... however, all year round, I have this constant post-nasal drip, but my nose isn't actually running... now I don't know if it's an allergy to dust mites and dust or chronic sinus inflammation??? My tests showed a 10mm reaction to dust mites, but I don't really get the typical symptoms like sneezing, choking, a runny nose, or itching. Is it possible for test results to show an allergy when the person isn't actually having problems? On top of that, I have a severe deviated septum which just makes everything harder.
