Steven Ruiz said:Oh, absolutely! 😁 I’ll be starting one more project very soon... probably for the fall/winter season... By the way, Voodoo Vixen actually has an American woman working in their office, so if you ever need to send them an inquiry or anything via email, you can totally just write in English and she'll get you sorted... 😬
weeee 👋 👋 now I'm just looking at some of their dresses—couldn't quite find 3x😢
Steven Ruiz said:Oh, let me jump in and add another dress recommendation for all you vintage enthusiasts out there! www.voodoovixen.co.uk
Their sizing goes up to a 3x (US 18), and they ship over to the States! I actually worked on a photoshoot for them, so I know the fit pretty well, and our models were all quite tall—ranging from about 5'7" to 5'10"... 😁
Oh my gosh, you did a shoot for Voodoo Vixen?? 😍😍😍 I absolutely adore them. Plus, unlike most other retro brands, they aren't quite as (extremely) pricey.
Brandon Nelson3 said:Dana, you should check out Triumph bras on eBay. You can find all sizes there for around $33! I've been ordering that way for years—I wear a 34G, which you basically can't find around here without paying an insane amount. My last pair was this pale pink Triumph lace one for about $17.
If you need help with links or figuring out how to order, just shoot me a DM and I'll send over my list of trusted sellers I always use.
Triumph bras for $33????
Oh my gosh, please send me a link. I am honestly so over not being able to buy a bra for less than $50 🙂
Lisa Myers said:A little more about bras 🤣 - I found size 105 D at the flea market and had plenty of options, so I grabbed three. Price: $12/each. The style is roughly like this:
Thick straps, sturdy yet soft—though this specific one from Victoria's Secret actually isn't very soft and feels a bit "scratchy." I'm super happy with them, though. Usually, a Victoria's Secret bra like this goes for $60.
They aren't fancy, but now I can save my better ones with the pretty lace for "special" occasions and use these for lounging around the house and everyday wear. They have several styles, all similar to this. I'm talking about the local flea market here, but I bet you can find stuff like this anywhere in the States. That is, if you don't mind buying second-hand goods.
this is literally my favorite bra in the whole world 🙂
also, do those flea market ones hold you up well enough?
Jessica Brown5 said:Oh my gosh, I actually went out and bought a swimsuit yesterday at Target! It is absolutely stunning—bright red, with these cute little straps on the bottoms and then this band right under the bust that’s covered in glitter.. $30, size 50. My girls fit perfectly in the top part! 😁 And honestly, they have such amazing swimwear there, though most of it was already sold out, it's definitely worth a look.. I am seriously obsessed.. I only went in to grab some snacks for the beach trip, and I ended up walking out with a whole new swimsuit. This might actually be the first time I've ever bought a suit without all the usual agony, tears, and stress. 😁
Way to go, girl! People always laugh when I tell them I found the best swimsuit of my entire life at GetMart. It cost $17 and it was a classic bikini style where the top had adjustable cups that move along the band, and the bottoms tied at the sides. Anyway, I've got plenty of cleavage to work with 😁 (an F cup) 😁 I think I'll have to make a run over to Kaufland soon. Do they carry one-piece suits there?
I’m hunting for some skinny jeans in a size 42, ideally priced under $200$83—any leads on where I can find those?
So, I tried on a size 40 at C&A yesterday and they were way too small for me... specifically the flat cut ones, you know, just regular black denim from there... even though a 40 felt huge on me before... 😢
Bradley Jones3 makes a valid point—when it comes to women with curves, everyone is built a little differently... For instance, my upper half is significantly larger than my lower half, which means I constantly struggle to find dresses or suits that actually fit. Usually, I have to have my outfits custom-tailored just to make them work. As for Target—I actually stumbled upon some amazing finds in a size 12, and they looked so youthful, plus the prices were incredibly, incredibly reasonable.🙂
When it comes to lingerie, L'sacá is honestly my only acceptable option. I’ve been buying those "old-school" bras since I was a teenager—the ones with really firm cups that have that slightly pointed shape, and I absolutely adore them! They’re the only ones with straps sturdy enough to actually keep everything in its proper place... (and what else can I say? The cups are an E... I can't find anything anywhere else even remotely close to that level of support.)
I am genuinely curious now, once my What Katie Did bullet bra finally arrives, if it will actually live up to all the hype regarding quality and firmness (and oh, finally, something sufficiently POINTY!)😉
Respectfully, I must say... But my patience only lasts until someone else starts shoving their musical preferences down my throat, acting like I’m obligated to listen to whatever they’re pushing on me at that exact moment.🙂
What is the actual point of all this? Honestly, whenever someone starts picking at my grammar, I just get restless... I mean, what is the whole purpose of constantly piling up posts anyway?
How can anyone actually hold a grudge against someone virtually? You just stop communicating with them. Besides, nobody here communicates DIRECTLY anyway... everyone gets an equal shot at commenting on every single post.
Listen: I still haven't quite grasped what the big deal is with all this online arguing. What is the actual point for people? You state your opinion, and frankly, why should you care if someone else doesn't like it... If someone gets abusive, you just report them to the admins and mods and the matter is settled. Am I not right?
