Here’s the link to the page— The radio sound of Underground Lyrics — Soul.
Thanks!
Looks great—now I just need to dive in and really dig into the details.
Kyle Morris7 Asks:
There’s been a site just like this around for ages—run by a certain rival fan club, obviously. Is the person who started this thread acting all high and mighty, or... what?

Sure, there's a baseline—we have our foundation—but why stop there? It can't hurt to push boundaries—and honestly, that's usually where the magic happens. This could be the spark for a fresh idea, a better way to collaborate, or even just a new way to level up our game for future wins.
Kyle Morris7 said:You might want to reconsider using terms like "underground" or "alternative." To most people, those labels carry a bit of a stigma—it often gives off the vibe of a group of losers trying to justify their lack of success by claiming they aren't "mainstream." Plus, the title itself feels a little clunky—not exactly catchy. Soul—it’s just pure magic. It brings to mind a completely different kind of music—something lightyears away from anything in the rock genre. If you actually listened to that link, you'd catch the reference to Zelet and the t-shirt. You might think it’s just some trivial little detail, but trust me—it isn't.
I don't have anything against using names like "underground" or "alternative"—honestly, I'm totally fine with it. Maybe that kind of branding turns some people off, but if you ask me? It sounds pretty damn good—and honestly, quite intriguing. 🤣
Regarding the Soul abbreviation—I think I might actually be on the same page as you there. At first glance, it definitely feels a bit confusing—honestly, "cmar" is a much more intuitive example. 😉
To be honest—I don't know the first thing about music journalism, nor am I part of any band—I'm just a huge fan who loves supporting our local scene.
My current favorites have to be: Cold Snap—definitely my number one—followed by Muscle Tribe of Danger and excellence, and then maybe some lighter Silente vibes. 👋
Yeah, I know—I definitely need to see a doctor about this. But do you really think it’s possible to scratch my face up that badly—completely unconsciously—without feeling any pain?! Freaky...
🤣
It doesn't look exactly like those photos, but it’s close—maybe like two parallel lines, sort of dark, similar to those early-stage streaks you might see. 😲
I actually watched this documentary about similar scratches supposedly left by ghosts, so I can't help but feel a little uneasy, haha. 🤣
Lately, I’ve been waking up with these bizarre scratches on my face—marks that definitely weren't there when I went to bed. Sometimes they even seem to pop up out of nowhere during the day, too, without me bumping into anything or scratching myself. They mostly show up on my forehead and around my ears; they're these bright red-purple streaks, about two cm long and less than a cm wide, looking strangely uniform. 😲
Has anyone else dealt with something like this? Who should I talk to—like, a dermatologist or someone else—to figure out how to stop this from happening?
😕
Thanks so much, Nicholas Myers! I'll definitely recommend that kind of diet to him—fingers crossed his next lab results look a lot better!
Thanks to everyone for all the replies.
vividsailor7—could you walk me through what a specific liver diet actually looks like? I mean, what am I officially allowed to eat and drink?
I’m also looking for some advice here regarding my nephew.
He’s 23, about 5'7", and weighs 220 lbs. He doesn't drink, smoke, or anything of the sort. About a week ago, he started experiencing some hearing loss along with ringing in his ears. Since he usually struggles with wax buildup, he tried washing out his ears himself—but no luck there. At the ER, they gave him Klavocin, hydrogen peroxide for an ear rinse, and some nasal drops. Also—on three separate occasions—his blood pressure was clocked at 160/100. After taking the medication, his ears feel a bit better now, but he just got his blood work back today. Everything seems fine except for his liver enzymes, which are quite elevated: AST 101, ALT 330, and GGT 133—which is pretty significant. For now, his doctor told him to cut out salt and alcohol for twenty days before retesting. I'm wondering why those enzymes might be so high—could it be linked to the high blood pressure? I'd really appreciate any insight or clarification you can offer.
wanderingmason86 and rustygardener172, thanks so much for the input. I'm going to do some digging with those private practices.
I really hope they aren't conflating function with aesthetics—though, honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if they were... And $1,000 is quite a hit to the wallet. 😲
Does anyone happen to know what the deal is with procedures over at Medica? I was just there seeing an ENT for a checkup.
Gosh, I'm really crossing my fingers that this can all be sorted out without needing surgery.
Hi everyone!
I’ve been scrolling through this thread, but I haven't found anyone dealing with anything quite like my situation—so I'm turning to you all for some advice. My ENT exam revealed a deviated septum with a significant spike pressing right against the lateral wall near the back of my nasal turbinate. To make matters worse, my entire right ethmoid area and middle turbinate are curved. Interestingly, breathing isn't actually the issue for me; it's these brutal headaches. My doctor suggested a functional procedure on the nasal septum and the lateral wall to remove that "spike"—which is likely the culprit behind the pain. Since I saw a specialist in private practice, he mentioned that the procedure could be done painlessly without any bone-breaking or traditional nasal reconstruction. He says they use modern sponges instead of those old-school packing tampons, meaning just one day in the hospital and a much smoother recovery... rather than the standard hospital route. I’m assuming the "standard" way is what most people here describe—that 5 to 7-day recovery period involving painful tampons. Has anyone here gone through a similar surgery? Or perhaps dealt with these types of headaches and found relief afterward? Also, does anyone know roughly what the cost looks like for a private procedure? And if you have any experiences with ENTs in Seattle, I’d love to hear them!
Thanks in advance for any insight! I'm genuinely interested in anything related to this issue!
Hi there!
I actually just finished my CT scan. I ended up booking a private appointment at the end because the standard wait times were just way too long for me. At Quest Diagnostics, it was about $150. Everything was wrapped up in five minutes—you just wait about half an hour for the results and you're all set.🙂
Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions... and... good luck with your exam!
"mistyjackal842," I'm so sorry you've had such frustrating experiences with those long wait times and exams in general.
Personally—luckily enough—I haven't run into anything like that myself, nor have I had any majorly negative encounters at hospitals or during checkups—but I've definitely heard similar horror stories from plenty of people. It’s actually because of those exact stories that I find myself wondering about how long the waitlists are and what the costs look like at private clinics—because honestly, waiting five months just for an appointment is way too much. 😠
There's no point in overanalyzing this problem for too long, but we all understand the state of our healthcare system... and the positions it puts us in... It's just awful...
I just stumbled upon some news articles from last month and this one stating that the wait for a CT scan at the Mayo Clinic in San Francisco is roughly 173 days! 😲😲😲
Is that even real?!?!?!
Does anyone happen to know the approximate costs at private clinics? This wait time is just absolutely insane...
Phew, I feel so much better now... 🙂 Thanks again.
Does anyone happen to know what the wait times are like for a CT at the local hospitals? I’ve heard they don't have many machines available—and that the backlog can be pretty intense.
Thanks so much for getting back to me—that was exactly what I needed to hear. 😍
It sounds silly, I know, but honestly? Between the idea of a tunnel and how long the procedure would take, I was absolutely terrified. 🤣
I need to get an MSCT scan for my sinuses, and I was wondering if anyone knows what the typical wait time looks like at hospitals in San Francisco—or even better, what the going rate is at private clinics? Honestly, I’m a bit of a novice when it comes to this stuff—and maybe a little squeamish, too—so I’d love to know exactly what to expect during the exam and how long it usually takes... any helpful info would be so appreciated!
And yeah—I don't actually recall dealing with any kind of itching myself...🤷
Here’s my experience. I have a vertical scar running across my abdomen—it's about 7 inches long. After the surgery, I used some Contractubex—probably a few months after the procedure once the scabs had finally cleared up (I can't recall the exact timing since it was quite a while ago). It really would be helpful to know exactly how long one should apply it to get the best possible results. As it stands, the incision is now a light pinkish-white color—though the suture marks are just a bit paler—and it isn't overly raised; when you run your hand horizontally across it, you just feel that specific area of skin is a bit softer. It wouldn't be super noticeable if it weren't for the fact that it's vertical—so the transitions are somewhat more obvious, almost like little bumps or divots compared to the surrounding skin. So, that's about it...🙂
Doctors told me ages ago that I deal with some minor sinus issues, but they insisted my headaches weren't actually coming from there—so, everything just felt like a giant question mark. Thankfully, the headaches have tapered off and become much milder lately, which was a huge relief. But now, this eye pain is cropping up more frequently, and honestly? It’s starting to get pretty uncomfortable—and a little scary, too. I did a quick Google search, and apparently, there are a million different things that could be causing this kind of discomfort. I’m going to go ahead and schedule appointments with an ENT and an ophthalmologist just to see what they have to say.
Thanks so much for all the help! 🙂
I know I need to see my doctor—and I’ve already got an appointment scheduled for next week—but in the meantime, I’d love to hear from you all. Has anyone else dealt with something similar? To give you some context, I’ve struggled with intense headaches for as long as I can remember. Sometimes they hit more frequently than others, but they’re always localized right in my forehead. I went through a whole battery of tests years ago, but nothing ever turned up. Lately, though, I’ve been dealing with this strange, shifting pain behind my eye—it kind of wanders, moving slightly left or right. Occasionally, the blood vessels in that eye look red, too. When it hits, my only real relief is taking a strong painkiller and just closing my eyes to sleep. I initially wondered if it might be sinus-related, but looking at what people say about sinus issues, that doesn't seem to fit—I don't get constant colds, I'm not sensitive to the cold, and my nose isn't always running... It doesn't feel like simple eye strain either, since the pain flares up regardless of how I spend my day. Does anyone recognize these symptoms? Any advice at all?
