Toxic product recalls: What's on your radar?
in Health ·
I just got an email today that honestly made me want to gag. It’s supposedly from someone working at the Federal Trade Commission within the Public Affairs Office for EU relations. The message goes like this:
"So, a translator colleague was over in Brussels with reps from Vindija, Sirela, and Lura. They were there to figure out how to tweak their dairy production to meet European Union standards. Basically, she sat there listening to how they make all our cheeses, milk, and meat back home (it's all technically legal, unfortunately)—she was physically sick for a couple of days after...
Let's break it down:
The "cheese" we have doesn't even contain actual milk; it's a total synthetic mess. If it were the real deal, it would cost ten times as much, and actual milk—if you could even call it that—would be priced at $6.75.
Seriously, you can barely tell there's cow's milk in there. Plus, they're pumping everything with steroids, antibiotics, bleach, artificial vitamins...
These products are EXTREMELY dangerous for kids. Same goes for fruit yogurts; they're packed with so much sugar it actually makes children more aggressive. Basically, the whole "milk and calcium" thing is just a massive marketing scam by the dairy lobby to get us to drink stuff we don't need and that's actually HARMFUL. Adults don't even need it, especially women.
It's the same story with fermented dairy, especially those LGG probiotics, which are allegedly cultured from bacteria harvested from corpses—both humans and cows (yeah, you read that right, d e a d b o d i e s).
A lot of the milk used for this stuff is imported; it isn't local.
Soy milk is a better alternative, but since you can never really tell if it's GMO or not, you might as well skip that too.
As for deli meats and pâtés—there's zero meat in them. That's why they call it "meat-flavored" or snack sausages. To be considered actual meat, it needs at least 20% meat content, and even that's rare. Everything is just padded out with steroids again
Cows raised specifically for veal produce higher quality milk, but we don't get that; we get the low-grade stuff (the calves get the good stuff). Meanwhile, in places like Japan, they raise cows totally differently: special pastures, everything organic, the cows even get massages and grazing time. Before slaughter, they sedate them because if an animal is stressed during slaughter, that adrenaline transfers directly to the meat people eat...
You should probably avoid Meggle because it comes from Poland, so there's no guarantee about how it was processed.
And so on, and so forth...
Disgusting!! Like, what is even safe to eat anymore???
😱 🙂
