Ovaries: Cysts and related issues [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
Does anyone happen to know what this all means? Before my last ultrasound, they noted this: the right ovary is somewhat enlarged at 4.9 cm, featuring a larger follicle measuring 1.9 cm. The left ovary is also larger, measuring about 4 x 3.7 cm—it shows some round lesions, one of which looks like a corpus luteum cyst with a reticular pattern measuring 1.9 cm, while the second round lesion is hyperechoic at 2.1 cm. There’s no free fluid in Douglas's pouch. Based on the results from my previous scan, I have to wait until the 18th—they also found some pelvic organ prolapse. Honestly, I'm just worried about what's going on with my ovaries. It says: follow-up is recommended via CA 125 blood test and a TVS ultrasound in three months. If anyone knows anything about this, especially regarding that hyperechoic lesion, I'd really appreciate it.

Which essentially means the results won't be valid and won't reflect your actual health status. It’s best to wait about 3 to 4 days after your cycle ends.
Anyway, I hope that helps.

Yes, that's absolutely true. That is exactly what happened to me recently—my red blood cell count hit 5. I had provided a sample just the day before my period started, thinking I was being smart by avoiding any "blood in the urine" scares—you know, those terrifying reports that hint at malignant diseases.
