Quick weight loss tips? in Health ·
I have a question regarding my goals. I am three months into this journey and I want to drop as many pounds as possible... so, please, I am asking for some effective diet recommendations! I was considering the UN diet since I’ve had success with it in the past and found it quite efficient. I realize that willpower is the most critical factor here, and I assure you, I have it.🙂

Unfortunately, my grandfather passed away. There was nothing more we could do for him. He hadn't eaten anything for nearly a month, which is what ultimately caused his passing; he was only able to take in small amounts of water and his medication. I am at a loss for words...

Can we close this thread?

She wasn't even that old. I suppose fighting cancer just took its toll on her heart..

I understand how it feels when it seems like everyone close to you is leaving all at once.. please hang in there.. 😘

Yeah, I know. I have been through this myself.🙂
Perhaps I should attempt to draft an advertisement for the hospital and the physician.
Toledo General Hospital and Dr. Vitomir Kovačević.

My deepest condolences.

Thank you.🙏
My grandmother [63] was a fighter; she battled colorectal cancer and went through chemotherapy about 14 times. She had recovered so much, too—she wasn't constantly suffering, just being her usual independent self, taking care of everything on her own. But while she was staying at my aunt’s house, she started having severe abdominal pain. They rushed her to the ER, and then transferred her to the hospital. The next morning, my mom called the hospital to check on her, and they told us the pain had subsided and she’d be discharged the following day. However, when my mom and aunt went to visit her, she looked terrible—completely cyanotic, almost blue. She told my mom the doctor was coming to give her some IV fluids, but her condition was rapidly deteriorating; her skin was darkening. After thirty minutes of pleading and begging the staff, the doctor finally showed up. He asked her what was wrong, but she couldn't even speak. When he stepped out to talk to my mom, he just bluntly said, "She has the disease you already know about, and she's going to die," and so on.
When my mom and aunt went back into the room to help change her, she collapsed onto my mother, gasped three times, and passed away. She had a heart condition, and she always feared hospitals, yet they didn't provide any cardiac care whatsoever. To make matters worse, they took her medication away from her, as if she were incapable of managing herself. I have been losing my mind over this. It happened on February 28th. Back on July 27th, my grandfather [66] passed away from prostate cancer; he hadn't eaten anything for a month and a half, just sipping water. I felt somewhat prepared for him, but for my grandmother, I just couldn't wrap my head around it. And her husband—my grandfather—he passed away suddenly just watching the nightly news. Then, my cousin died about a year and a half ago, and we were incredibly close. It feels like everyone around me is just dying.
So
cardiorespiratory failure 😕
Latin for sudden death 😕

I would be very grateful if someone could explain what this actually means.
My grandmother passed away due to the cause listed above, and I am struggling to understand the terminology. I am asking for your help.

My grandfather was diagnosed with prostate cancer about eighteen months ago. He underwent several surgeries, and everything seemed to be progressing well until about a month or two ago. That’s when he had to be hospitalized due to severe hematuria. He spent a month in the hospital before being discharged, but the bleeding through his catheter simply wouldn't stop. It caused him immense pain. He was only home for about two days before we had to rush him back to the hospital. He’s been there for three weeks now, and he has become incredibly frail. He’s constantly on IV fluids, which I suppose is what's keeping him going. While the bleeding has finally stopped and his urine is clear now, he is just so weak. He can barely speak and refuses to eat anything at all. He insists his body just doesn't want food. Does anyone have any suggestions on how he might recover even a little? To be honest, I feel like my life would be in complete shambles without him. Everyone around me seems to be passing away. My other grandfather died two years ago, and my younger cousin, who was only 23, passed last year. I am desperately seeking any kind of advice or help.
