Aina Mo, don't you dare send it via standard mail!!! I sent an envelope that way exactly once and it never arrived—not even a trace. I made sure everything was sealed perfectly... but seriously... never again with standard mail!!!😳
ironwolf52, they hit you with customs duties on top of the $100 plus the sales tax.
If the average customs rate sits at 10%,
then you're looking at an extra $10—which means the sales tax on the $110 ends up being $24.
Between the duties and the sales tax, the total $34; even adding in those $100 of yours, it's $134
. They probably just slapped you with a higher tariff—I suppose it depends on what specific category the goods fall under.🤷🤷
I’ll just wrap the box in tape and then cover it with paper—simple enough. No one needs to know what's actually inside. 🤣
Up to 5 kg is $5.00, assuming the value stays under $33. If you’re looking at something worth $63, expect to shell out roughly $6.25
.
My package wandered its way over to Cleveland and finally made it back home 😂 after 14 days. The old guard didn't even bother leaving a delivery notice for the customer!!!😠
Thanks, Angela Flores76!
Isn't that area basically the Bermuda Triangle of Cleveland? 😂😂😂
It feels a bit off to me. So far, they've only swiped a single envelope—and it wasn't even certified mail! Now I'm actually getting worried.
I shipped a package to Cleveland 11 days ago, and still nothing! At this point—honestly—I’m starting to lose hope it’ll even show up...👎

How long am I supposed to wait before I can actually file for a refund?
Just use a shipping box or a certified envelope—don't risk it. I had a package disappear entirely on its way to NYC once; they straight up stole it! 😠😳
