Kidney issues - questions and concerns... in Health ·
Angela Wright said:The doctors in my family have told me that a kidney removal is actually straightforward enough to be done as an outpatient procedure. Sure, people love to spin those horror stories about organ theft—you know, getting knocked out, having a kidney snatched, and waking up on a curb with nothing but a surgical scar. Of course that sounds crazy; obviously, anyone would aim for the most ideal hospital conditions possible. My point was strictly about the level of expertise and the facility where the surgery takes place.

Look, there's no reason to panic here; everything is going to turn out fine. They clearly had to move forward with the removal to prevent things from spiraling out of control. Rebecca Moore8, just try to get some rest.

They needed to clear out some blood that had pooled on the kidney. Once they drained it, they tried to stabilize the organ, but they said every time they tried to stitch it up, it kept bleeding through, so they just had to take the whole thing out.

Before this surgery, he was physically exhausted. They told him he had some kind of kidney disease—they gave it a specific name, but I can't recall it right now—but they said everything was removed. Honestly, I haven't been able to sleep because I'm so anxious. Thanks for the help.

A couple of years ago, Grandpa was in a minor accident that ended up crushing his kidney. He had surgery today, and they were supposed to stitch some vessels near the kidney, but they couldn't do it, so they just removed it entirely. Right now he’s in the shock room. I have no idea how this is going to play out. He’s already been through surgery for a hernia and an appendectomy before, but what's really eating at me is that this surgery happened over in Mexico. Dad kept telling him he should have gone to Germany or somewhere else where the doctors are actually better. Honestly, I'm spiraling right now and I'm terrified that something is going to go wrong with him. Has anyone dealt with something like this? Grandpa is 65. 😢

but it’s definitely one of the better Best Buy locations I’ve dealt with👍

at the local Walmart, it's probably closer to 3,300, so yeah, way more than 50%

ccc

Look, if you can track down a 5870 for $500 I'll give you a hand 🙏
then you're looking at a killer deal.
But I'm telling you, if it's a 5870 and if it's $500

Yeah, from a buddy of mine who works in IT. He buys up used gear. It's not factory sealed, but it's half the price...

or GTA, but that's about it.

The graphics card is the only thing screwing me over. Everything else is more than decent. I've got an AMD Phenom II X6 processor running at 2800 MHz, 4 GB of RAM, and a 1 terabyte hard drive—which is honestly overkill. Since I don't know much about this stuff, I thought the current card was okay, but I think I'll just grab an AMD Radeon HD 5870 1GB instead. It's only $500....I saw it at Best Buy for about 300 bucks

Alright, look, I need to know if this card is actually any good: ATI Radeon HD4350 512mb?
