Look, it’s not that they aren't helpful; their Customer Service is actually quite decent. But you have to understand how it works—they run all these checks on their end to make sure everything is hitting their servers correctly, but they aren't allowed to just start poking around in your computer or messing with your settings. They won't tell you exactly what to tweak because if they give you advice and it backfires, they don't want to be held responsible for breaking your machine.

For instance, my internet cut out on me recently, too. It was a complete mystery. The connection between my router and my PC was fine, and I could stream DirecTV without any issues, but the actual web browsing was dead. Look, you might want to try disabling the Windows Firewall and turning off your antivirus entirely for a moment. It’s entirely possible those programs are throttling your connection or just straight-up blocking the traffic. If you happen to be running an Intel network card, listen up because there is a specific headache waiting for you. When you go through the driver installation process, the software will eventually pop up a prompt asking if you want to install the Intel Firewall along with it. Most people, being helpful souls, just blindly click "yes," and that is exactly where everything goes sideways. If you’re dealing with one of those cards, do this instead: head straight into your Control Panel, navigate to Network Connections, right-click on your Local Area Connection, and select Properties. Right at the top, you’ll see a thin horizontal window labeled "Connect with" that shows you which network card is currently active. If it's an Intel card, click the "Configure" button on the right and disable that damn firewall immediately. I ran into this exact same nightmare myself, and let me tell you, the second I shut that garbage off, my connection started running like a dream.

I’d honestly say I prefer Mononoke, but that’s mainly because it’s much more dynamic—there’s way more action, and you can rewatch it several times without getting bored, whereas this one feels more like an "art house" piece, though that certainly doesn't diminish its quality. I remember watching it at the local AMC with a buddy of mine, and we practically got death stares from everyone around us for sitting through an animation in a movie theater, but let me tell you, the film is absolutely fantastic. It might drag a little bit during the opening act, but once things get moving, it becomes incredibly gripping.
You should definitely check out the ones that actually appeal to people who occasionally sit down for a good animation. 😉
