I was watching some old clips last night and it really got me thinking about how much the vibe in fighting has changed lately. It feels like everything is becoming so sanitized and calculated. Back in the day, you had personalities who would just say exactly what was on their mind, no matter how controversial or aggressive it sounded. There was a certain raw energy when fighters actually seemed to have a personal grudge or a specific vision of how a fight should end.

Nowadays, it feels like a lot of the trash talk is just scripted marketing to get people to click on a stream. It’s all "respectful" or "professional," which is fine for the business side, but it loses that edge that made me fall in love with the sport in the first place. I miss the days when the fighters themselves were the ones driving the chaos, rather than just following a PR playbook.

Do you guys prefer the modern, "professional" era of fighting, or do you miss the wilder, more unpredictable personalities?

To my eyes, it wasn't about how he perceived her; it was her own behavior that felt entirely forced and artificial.🤷

I honestly couldn't bring myself to enjoy this movie. It’s one of those frustrating experiences where everything on paper seems perfect—the soundtrack is absolutely stellar, the acting is top-tier, and the underlying themes are genuinely compelling—yet the film itself just never clicked for me. Throughout the runtime, I was left with this nagging sense that the narrative was trying far too hard to paint her as some sort of uniquely "special" protagonist, which ultimately stripped the story of its groundedness and made the whole thing feel incredibly unrealistic.
