PlotlineTom Hansen is this melancholy guy who makes his living writing messages on postcards and greeting cards—that’s actually his job—and he spends his time dreaming about finding that one perfect partner. Then Summer Finn walks into his office, and he’s instantly hooked... I mean, pretty much any guy who meets her would be. But right from the jump, Summer makes it clear she isn't looking for anything serious; she just wants casual, no-strings-attached fun. They start seeing each other, and for Tom, Summer is clearly "the one," the perfect match. His friend tries to warn him, though, saying he's just going to end up heartbroken. The movie 500 Days of Summer actually starts at the end of the romance, then moves through various stages of Tom and Summer's relationship using flashbacks.

I guess some lucky people might have had the chance to catch the premiere. 500 Days of Summer It popped up at one of those many festivals. It’s hitting US theaters this September. Just a little while longer, yay! Starring... Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Mysterious Skin, Brick, The Lookoutwhich sent me into pure euphoria after that incredible performance at... Mysterious Skin He’s basically the main reason I’m even looking forward to this movie. Plus, she’s this charming young woman with a really unique voice. Zooey Deschanel (Yes ManAside from being excellent. soundtrack Based on the reviews so far, this movie—which features a soundtrack spanning pop and rock from the 80s to today—actually manages to pull off an unconventional love story. Most critics seem to be comparing it to 500 Days of Summer. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless MindI guess I have a feeling this might end up being one of the biggest hits of the year, especially considering how high the ratings are looking. I guess Rotten Tomatoes is just what it is. It’s fine, I suppose, if you need that quick hit of consensus before deciding whether to bother with a movie or not. It doesn't really change much for me, though. Maybe some people find it helpful, but I don't see the big deal. (currently has 89%I don't know what you're trying to get at here. Maybe there's more to say, but honestly, I guess it's just incomplete. on IMDb (currently has 8,7/10 And it’s sitting at number 154. Top 250.). Roger Ebert He gave the movie a full four stars! I guess we'll just have to wait and see if he was actually right about that... 👍

I've been waiting forever for this movie, and honestly, Zooey Deschanel is just incredible.🙂

I haven't seen who was in it yet, so please don't spoil anything for me! By the way, I think Zooey Deschanel is absolutely adorable. 🙂

According to IMDb, the movie doesn't hit theaters here until November 5, 2009. So, I guess we'll just be waiting... 😢

I think they’re planning to have it on Movieplex around November 19th, or something like that... I guess. Until then, I'll just be hanging out with Zooey while listening to her incredible album. 😍

Just grab it from a torrent site; I actually watched it about three weeks ago.😁 It was just a DivX rip, but whatever, it works.😁😁😁

The first time I saw it, the movie really hit home, but by the second viewing, it just wasn't the same. I'm definitely not rushing to watch it a third time. The soundtrack is great—lots of The Smiths and Regina Spektor—but the whole thing is starting to get on my nerves. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is as charming as ever, but the girl is just incredibly grating. I think I saw a critic tearing it apart on a major US news site today.🤣

Personally, I wouldn't pay even 20-$10 for something like this.☕

Webb’s characters are basically just a couple: Tom, this hopeless romantic guy who’s clearly been too heavily influenced by British pop music and the movie La La Land, and Summer, a rational, non-sentimental girl who just isn't interested in commitment.
Someone said something. It feels like every ten years, Hollywood decides to remake "When Harry Met Sally," and I guess Webb's film is basically that exact same dynamic, just reimagined for the generation that grew up on "Sex and the City." It doesn't exactly look like a spit in the face...

That was just my take on how our opinion makers are reacting😁 but personally, I think Jurica is actually pretty great😁 I’m eager to hear what you all think once you’ve seen him 🙂
