But honestly, why don't you bring that same logic up when someone comes flying in with those nasty provocations aimed at people who've been cheated on?
Because then, just for the sake of variety, you end up handing out warnings or bans to the very people actually trying to defend themselves against those trolls, all while explaining that this is an open forum where anyone can say anything—which basically just labels us as the aggressors.

Your posts in the affair threads didn't exactly land as "just harmless joking" with everyone, and maybe that could have been a gentle little hint to you that people weren't really vibing with that approach.

It’s kind of funny, though, that you didn't think *this* particular post was inappropriate, isn't it?

Oh, I wouldn't dream of doubting that they've come up with all sorts of ways to self-delude down there. They get humiliated to the core, yet they still try to convince themselves otherwise.🙄 ☕
Well, yeah, the truth hurts sometimes...😁

And it wasn't even Sarah Cooper41 who went looking for trouble; it was some random person asking about what happens when a relationship becomes humiliating in an affair context, only to have a few people jump in claiming that being the legal spouse is the only way to be truly wronged.

Out of everything that was said, you somehow picked *this* to issue a warning for.

You started doing the exact same thing tonight over in the infidelity threads, so I stepped in with a warning just to stop things from spiraling into unnecessary arguments and more warnings.

It’s not like the whole country is crazy (and that goes for everyone else, too).

Reason: Trolling

It wasn't necessary, you know?

Should I sell my soul—just because of one single moderator?
Well, it’s just not happening.

I mean, look, getting banned isn't exactly the end of the world, is it? It’s really not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things, right? 😘

Honestly, it’s funny how it works out—every single time I get banned, people seem to love me even more. 😍
And what exactly did I do to earn a kiss? 🙂 She's just absolutely precious, isn't she?

Over the course of 4,000 posts, I’ve mostly just poured out miles and miles of my own sadness and offered support to people who mean a lot to me.
I don't go wandering through threads acting like I'm some kind of genius or trying to act superior over everyone else, and I certainly don't go around insulting people...
My biggest "crime," if you can even call it that, was once telling another user that they could use a little more empathy.
If anyone thinks otherwise, feel free to step up and prove it with actual evidence.
And yet, here I am, getting hit with warnings and bans left and right, almost as if I’m some kind of mastermind criminal, being labeled a troublemaker, a provocateur, and all sorts of other things 😕
What's the moderator impression, anyway?

It's not that I'm sitting here expecting a shred of justice from this place, I'm just thinking out loud... assuming I'm even allowed to think at all under these "community guidelines."
Steven Reed said:Kyle King4, don't you dare summon 😠
Back when they sidelined us and relegated us to the "basement," we actually got to know the crew quite well—and we've been great buddies with the little bear and the tin (they even drop by from the upper floors more often than you'd think)
Honestly, I find this whole thing about calling the OFF topic section some kind of trash sub-forum—where everything is just fleeting topics... yeah, I'm just so deeply offended 😢
to this group 👋
and to the newcomers 👋 😍

I’m truly sorry if that's how you're feeling about our whole struggle to get back to the original PDF.
I feel like I’ve already shared my two cents on that subject, haven't I?

Michelle Wilson8 said:You've probably got a point there, 🙂

By acting this way, you're kind of ruining the reputation of this PDF I hold so dear. 😍
Forgive me for going on a bit of a tangent here, 😁

Thanks for the detour, 🙏
Just so we’re all on the same page and there isn't any confusion, nobody is suggesting that this beloved PDF is anything less than great, nor is anyone trying to belittle it.
It’s just that we feel our topics really belong over on ZUD, and we're simply pushing back against these arbitrary decisions that don't seem to have much of a logical basis behind them.
Nicholas King said:Look, I already told you—you’re being immature.

All those little clichés about "us versus them," winning, losing, all that self-congratulatory posturing, the ego trips and stuff... honestly, it all feels incredibly middle school. I don't even grasp what I'm supposed to be learning from that—or why, for that matter. I came here to discuss a fundamental principle, not to engage in some petty competition over who has the bigger ego.

At the end of the day, mocking someone who actually went out of their way to support you on a matter they have zero personal stake in—well, that actually says quite a lot about your character.

Don't mention it. And try to do better next time. ☕

What can I say? My own ego and standards are orbiting somewhere far beyond the Neptun Quote.😍

Ultimately, making fun of someone who actually stepped up for you—especially regarding something they don't even have a personal stake in—really says a lot about your own character.

Nobody is questioning what you bring to the table; it's not like you haven't dropped a few gems of wisdom along the way.
I'm hardly to blame if you can't tell the difference between being witty and just being a jerk.🤣

My words reflect who I am, just as much as yours reflect who you are, right? 😉
(And that's something I picked up back in elementary school, believe it or not.😁)

neonsailor58 said:This is completely unfair. What does she have to do with the fact that wanderingranger41 started this thread and the rest of us responded to it? I can't quite decipher if wanderingranger41 opened this just to be provocative or not, but I know for a fact that I was the one being provocative. C-sunny certainly wasn't, I'm positive of that.

I didn't even get a chance to see the thread from C-sunny, but I am certain she opened it because she needed to—because right now, she is the one who actually needs it.

I really think that ban should be lifted. Please, just lift it🙂 because if anyone on this forum needs it right now, it’s her. Just ban me instead😉 if you absolutely have to, I suppose.😁

And honestly, it would be quite nice if you could write something along the lines of: "We messed up, we made a mistake." You know, something human, if that's even possible. And regarding the moving of chats from clear skies without any explanation (neither I nor Nicholas King saw them when they were supposed to, only much later), and also regarding Sunny once you lift her ban...🙂

Those points for general leadership were earned through the heat of the battle.🤣
I just wanted to take a second to say how much I appreciate everyone who stepped up to support this fight🙂
And honestly, my thanks go out to those who didn't show up for me too👎
A huge shoutout to the moderators for everything they do👍
And hey, thanks to all the agitators and troublemakers as well🤣
(seriously, lord, I told you "watch and learn"😍)
Jose White18 said:Per editorial instructions, it’s either one or none. Besides, chat is strictly prohibited by the rules, though we might occasionally tolerate a single chat thread.
2) On what basis are all three moved? They are labeled strictly as "chat" topics, yet anyone reading them can clearly see they aren't just small talk; people are discussing very specific issues like being a mistress, infidelity, or an adulteress.

How are those considered chats? 🤦
3) How many regulars can be on a chat topic, and how many new people need to join within what timeframe before it's declared a "closed group"?

Do you honestly think there's an exact definition for that? Do you really think we have to reach a consensus on such a judgment?
4) IF they actually meet objective criteria for being chats, why were all three removed at once, despite having totally different lengths, subjects, and communication styles?

There is no reason to remove them in the order they were created, nor is any one thread more significant than the others to warrant staying while others go. It wouldn't be right to show favoritism to one side over the rest.
5) Where did this need for a violent, aggressive, and baseless intervention come from? These threads worked perfectly fine for years, drew people in, and ultimately helped them.

A violent and aggressive intervention would have been closing those chats entirely.

Because.

If I'm not mistaken, you gentlemen are actually the ones who started three separate chat threads.
And wouldn't you know it, those were easily the most read and most commented-on posts on the entire forum.
If you had changed your minds, you could have just edited the titles to let us know we weren't chatting anymore, or better yet, pointed us toward the OFF topic section where we could all just grab a coffee together while waiting for new updates.
By clearing things out here on ZUD, you've essentially chased away the three liveliest discussions about Life for Two.
If I were to open a thread over there titled "how to deal with infidelity," I bet you'd delete it in a heartbeat.
But if I opened something like "my husband keeps hijacking the TV program," you'd probably only take it down because of my username.
Yet, somehow, someone else could start a thread called "my husband does whatever he wants" and it would stay up.
Is this democracy?
Is this freedom?
mellowraven22 said:So you're complaining about the chat moving too fast, and now you're trying to shut down this whole thread because of it? Not gonna happen.

With all due respect, our thread was titled "Chat for the Betrayed," just like all those other topics that got wiped out, so you really can't fault us for having a bit of a lively discussion here, can you?
Please forgive us if we’re being a bit much and cluttering up the place here; we really didn't mean to cause such a ruckus. 🙏Honestly, we just really wanted to celebrate our favorite forum regular coming back home to us!

That's pretty much the whole story as far as I know.
Kyle King4 said:The whole situation with ZUD is pathetic because you don't have a single mod actually showing up to participate in those chats. Honestly, if you put in a little effort instead of making such a huge scene, they’d be back 😬

Lately, those chat rooms have just been small cliques of women hanging out. The topics have drifted away from anything related to ZUD and turned into general socializing, and frankly, having three separate chats for one sub-forum is just overkill.

How is this any different from any other forum? 🤷
It's becoming this annoying forum tradition where every year you try to migrate all the chats from a specific forum over to OFF topic. People are shocked, and honestly, they have every right to revolt 🤷
Let's be clear: on OFF topic, people are mostly starting their own threads. Nobody is being forced to be there. They end up there because they bonded on a different forum first. This whole move makes it look like OFF topic is some trash bin or a prison for "undesirables" 😁
which isn't true at all. By doing this, you're just ruining the reputation of this forum that I actually care about 😍
Sorry for the rant 😁

You've probably got a point there, 🙂

Honey, this isn't really the place for personal shout-outs, it's supposed to be for gathering signatures.
Did you forget to include it?
Jose White18 said:"...lately, these chats have been seeing much smaller groups of women hanging out, where conversations have shifted toward social topics that aren't exclusively about ZUD—and honestly, having three separate chats is just too much for one sub-forum..." Everything regarding this was already explained here. I really don't see what part of that is unclear or why more details would help. It's pretty obvious that for certain people, no explanation will ever be good enough.

But honestly, where is the actual issue there?
I’ve already asked—though, predictably, I didn't get an answer—why don't you guys just offer us memberships with a limited expiration date when we sign up? It seems like such a logical step, doesn't it?

it's pretty obvious that for some people, no explanation will ever be good enough

Just like how no amount of common sense can ever satisfy those who refuse to see why acting on a whim without any oversight is a bad idea.
This thread is here strictly to provide a helping hand for getting those moved topics back where they belong.
It would be really wonderful if we could all just refrain from using this space for any kind of personal bickering or ego battles—otherwise, we might end up having to move this one too, right? 😍(
).🙂Thanks so much!
Kyle King4 said:Now they've pulled back just to play games. They’re definitely going to bring you right back in. 😁

If you happen to be nearby, could you let them know they need to move that soccer player at the top? It's totally blocking my path to the inbox. 😍

From your lips to God's ears, 😍
(or maybe straight to the moderatorit 🤣)

I am also casting my vote to stay.

Because they’d probably just wipe us out entirely 😢 (trust me on this one)
My dear friends, it looks like the red starts falling 😍

Keep writing like before (some already have). 😉 )
I honestly don't get any of you. 😕

Now, with all due respect, what exactly makes you think you're even in a position to judge anyone else when you clearly haven't got a clue yourself? 😍
In barely ten hours, we've already managed to rack up a pretty decent pile of posts and an honestly impressive amount of views.
Should we just make ourselves at home here? 😍
Is this some kind of uniquely American style of privatization? 🤣
I can't help but feel like our messages, our wishes, and all these comments actually fit much better within our own specific themes...😂
