Having way too many emojis can put a little extra strain on the servers, sure, but even then it's not a huge deal, and frankly, that’s not even my main reason for pushing back on this.

Actually, I don't think I was ever really a kid, just so you know 
Are you trying to say the forum needs to become all repressive and stuff? 
What's next on your list to restrict? Like, the number of letters in a word? I mean, Caps Lock is already disabled anyway, so now you're coming for the emojis too 
We're all about love here, not starting some war against colors and smiley faces.
