Anesthesia, Resuscitation, and ICU: Q&A in Health ·
rowdybadger65 said:Hi everyone. If anyone sees this before the day after tomorrow, that would be great. 🙂 I've been reading all sorts of things here about colds, periods, and surgeries. Well, I caught a cold today and I also have my period. But I'm just going in to have some Botox removed from my face, which I assume involves local anesthesia. If anyone knows more than I do... 🙂 Will they send me home because of this? Thanks.

I had full anesthesia while on my period. I asked before scheduling the surgery and they said it didn't matter (I was having gallbladder surgery). As for a cold, I guess I don't know..

I had blood work done since I’m scheduled for a minor surgery (general anesthesia), and everything looks fine except for a high AST (38, ref 8-30) and a high MPV (10.8, ref 6.8-10.4).
Is this concerning? Everything was normal when I did my metabolic panel and enzymes five months ago. Is this going to stop the surgery? Should I be getting any extra tests done?

I doubt this will stop general anesthesia. My own results were similar once, and the anesthesiologist didn't see it as an issue.

If these kinds of numbers were a dealbreaker, I guess almost nobody would qualify for general anesthesia...

Correct me if I'm wrong, I suppose. 🙂

This Figleaves thing is 😍 😍 😍!

I finally found something that should actually work (honestly, my heart might skip a beat). It’s even actually pretty!

I suppose I should mention they often have discount codes; maybe worth a quick search online. 😁

How does this even work?

Like, how much would this specific bra end up costing once you factor in the size and all that? http://www.figleaves.com/uk/product/...=Multicoloured

I guess this size calculator is actually the most ideal one for me: I guess this site looks like it hasn't been updated since the nineties. Maybe it’s just old, but it feels pretty broken.

This is how I measure my chest circumference. I can't see the image you linked. Maybe try again? Or maybe I just missed it.

Once you plug your figures into the calculator, that first number—the one from the UK—is the one you actually need for today's page, I guess.

That badge you're looking at is only the top section. It ends up being about 28 pounds. I guess. $3.25I don't know exactly. I guess if you click "Select Size," you'll see what they have available for that bikini top. Maybe part of the lower section. I guess. This is just a bio. And it costs whatever it costs—which is quite a bit, I guess. 😁

Ordering bras online is risky, I guess. Manufacturers don't even stay consistent with sizing and stuff. But if that’s the only option available, it's fine. Plus, the selection is huge.

I ordered from British eBay before and everything turned out fine. I used this to pick my size.

Now I'm thinking about ordering from http://www.figleaves.com/uk/. They have plenty of sizing options and some really nice bras. 😍
