Sean Stewart, I honestly think you’d be the absolute perfect candidate for a wrap dress. Like, they just flatter everyone, you know? They highlight all the right spots and then, I guess, just kind of hide whatever you're trying to keep under wraps.
Have you ever actually tried a style like that?
Even those tunic tops work on basically the same principle, if you think about it.

I mean, you wouldn't really know what to suggest, honestly. I guess there were a few times where I tried to play it safe and picked a bigger size than what my actual measurements called for—like, when they didn't have my specific size in stock, so I grabbed an XL instead of a Large—and it turned out to be way too big on me.

I mean, I’m pretty sure you still can't find any Violetes in the stores, if that makes sense.
The sizes are just TTS.

Maybe check out Romanoriginals or Mango.

They hold everything perfectly in place—until, of course, I actually need to move around.🤣

Just a quick little update on Kiku. I swung by yesterday, and man, those sports ones? They’re completely gone.
(I mean, that doesn't necessarily mean they aren't at some other Kiku location, but usually, their stock is pretty much the same across all the stores, no matter where you are in town).

I’ve heard nothing but glowing reviews for Shock Absorber, but I’ve yet to see them in a physical store where I could actually try them on—and frankly, I'm just not in the mood to gamble on sizing when they come at such a premium price point. Still, I told myself I’ll treat myself to a pair eventually. For reference, I'm an 85E or F.
There are a few different styles available over on ASOS.

I saw them on two separate occasions. It was also like this during the winter.

I'll head over to Kmart next time I'm out. Thanks! 🙂

Maybe you grabbed a pair that’s a bit too loose, I mean, who knows? Personally, this one I have is super firm—like, I can move all over the place and nothing budges. I'm a size D/E.

dustycyclist72 said:Yeah, I suppose they don't—not exactly that solid, anyway. 😢

I haven't bothered looking at their athletic wear—usually, those standard cuts don't offer much more than a C cup anyway. So, what you're saying is—the actual sports bras actually provide better coverage?

Over the last couple of years, I picked up maybe four or five, I can't quite remember the exact number right now.
Anyway, they actually have some that are perfect for heavy-duty sports like martial arts—which was honestly ideal for my training sessions since we were doing full-body contact and just constant action—and then there are the slightly looser ones that are still pretty sturdy.
For that kind of price point (under like ten bucks), they're honestly pretty decent.
I haven't stepped foot in a Kmart in the last month or two, but this stuff has always been part of their regular stock.

Also, you can sometimes find stuff at Target when they have one of those big sports equipment weeks. They’re good too, just varying levels of how much they actually "keep everything under control."

I need something that won't fail during intense workouts—real support, not just wishful thinking. An online shop is perfectly fine, provided they ship to the States. 😉

Maybe check out Target or Kohl's.

So, when you're messing around on AliExpress, I guess the biggest thing you’ve gotta do is obsess over the ratings for the specific item you’re eyeing, right? Like, you really need to dig into those customer reviews and check out how the seller is actually doing overall. Honestly, the sellers there tend to be super quick at getting back to you if you have questions about sizing or whatever else, which is kind of a lifesaver. It feels way faster than eBay sometimes, even though, you know, you might actually be dealing with the exact same seller in both places, but the service just seems snappier.
If you've got the app downloaded on your phone, my best advice—maybe this helps—is to just take a screenshot of the dress you want and use the image search feature. Seriously, it's wild because you can often find that exact-same-item somewhere else for like, half the price.👍
Fashion for curvy girls in Fashion ·
Alright, look, it’s fine. It isn't exactly some life-changing thing, honestly. It's pretty much the same thing.
And I mean, you can get it for like, a quarter of the price.
Fashion for curvy girls in Fashion ·
Honestly, most of these designs pop up on AliExpress for way cheaper. I mean, if you look closely, even the photos look like they were ripped straight from an Ali listing.
$53 https://www.buykud.com/products/new-...ton-linen-robe

$12 http://s.aliexpress.com/vEjYfmEv

And yeah, this is just one single dress out of the bunch.

Jeremy Cox49 said:Thanks for the tips, ladies... @hollowtinker40... I need an undershirt right this second—but I'll keep Lidl on my radar for a few months down the line. Honestly, I can never have enough of this stuff—always trying to squeeze into something too tight :-D

@Jonathan Perez88... I haven't spent a full century in Napa, if that makes sense—but I keep running into people swearing by it for finding good finds. I’ll have to scout it out properly and actually head there on purpose, since my usual routes never take me past the good stuff.

Right now, I'm on a hunt for some harem pants... you won't find them in any of our local shops, and all I want is something simple in black.

Nnč 🙂

You might be able to find those baggy pants at Kohl's too, I was actually looking just the other day, but I didn't grab any because they looked exactly like the pair I snagged at their clearance sale last year for like ten bucks (or maybe less, I don't quite remember)
Anyway, I had no clue that even guys carried those kinds of undershirts, so I guess I'll have to start paying attention too!

Any idea where I can snag a compression undershirt?
Looking for a size 16. Google is only showing me stuff way more expensive than $67, and honestly—not trying to drop that kind of cash right now.
If anyone’s got one just sitting in their closet, let me know.

Well, if you aren't in a massive rush, I think they usually have some stuff at Walmart in different colors. They'll have them as undershirts, bodysuits, or even those high-waisted shapewear pieces.
Prices usually top out around $17. I check their seasonal stuff every once in a while—it’s always the same cut, just different patterns or colors—so I just grab whatever looks okay.
Pretty easy to wash, too.
They don't have anything in the current flyer, but they usually roll out new stock right before fall hits.

But, uh, if you actually need it like, yesterday, maybe check ASOS online? They usually carry them, though I think they're pricier than that $5 range, and I'm pretty sure the sales just ended, but hey, might be worth a quick look!

Gmail vs. Outlook: Which one is better for work? in IT Support ·
So, I’m not totally sure if there’s already a thread about this, but if there is—please, mods, just move my question over there. My search engine told me there wasn't anything, but hey, if I'm wrong, don't mind this blonde girl.

Basically, at some point, I enabled the inbox feature for my Gmail, but now I’m kind of over it. It keeps glitching out on me and, honestly, I’m just done with it. Thanks, though.

Ok, so if you look at the bottom left corner, you'll see the settings.
I went under options and picked "Other."
And then, under "Other," I unchecked the box that had the inbox redirection turned on by default.

But now... now when I try to go back to regular Gmail, it asks me to enter my name, but then it just hits me with an "Invalid Request" error.
image

I tried the whole "turn Google Chrome off and back on again" thing—you know, that classic old trick people always suggest—but it didn't work.

What am I even supposed to do? If I turn it on, should I just restart the whole computer? Did I offend someone or something by turning off the inbox?

pls help 🙂

I haven't really checked what the prices are sitting at over at Lidl lately, but last time I was poking around their aisles, everything seemed to be hovering somewhere in the 50-$20 range, I guess. Something like that. Honestly, though, finding out about Lidl was a total game-changer for me.

And it isn't just Lidl, either—you’ve gotta check out Kik too. Yeah, seriously. They have some absolutely killer deals on stuff, probably hitting that max level of savings too, maybe even up to $33!

granitedriver822 said:Hey ladies 🙂 Sorry to crash the party here, but I honestly didn't know where else to ask and I’m really hoping someone might actually have an answer for me. Does anyone know where I can find decent large bras in a place like Chicago—ideally something comfy (I'm pregnant, so comfort is my absolute priority right now) and under $50? My bust is sitting at about 43 inches now and it looks like the growth spurt has finally stalled, so I think I might be able to move into a "normal" bra soon. Right now, I'm just surviving in XXL sports bras.

Also, I'm on the hunt for some white or beige tops—nothing too heavy, just light, breathable cotton blouses or tees. Sleeves are fine, or no sleeves, whatever. I definitely need plus sizes, though. I don't want anything tight against my skin; I need that summer breeze flowing through everything to keep me sane. 🙂

Lisa Myers, honestly, halter tops are a way better choice than strapless ones, and it's not even just about how they look. You can wear them all day without feeling crushed, whereas with strapless stuff, we all know that miserable feeling after just a few hours. 😉 A good halter top isn't exactly cheap, but listen, my La Perlin one has lasted me five whole years. Besides, it's way easier to find cute, affordable halter tops than it is to find decent, cheap strapless ones. And I swear, on everything, halter styles hold up way longer than tights or strapless tops—I don't have the scientific data to prove it, 🙂 but it's a solid investment that saves you money in the long run.
And sorry for the total random tangent, but did you happen to stop by Target and maybe ask a clerk about those coconut macaroons I was looking for?

winter clothes

Lidl
white or beige, natural fabric, thin, light blouses or tops—sleeved or sleeveless, whatever length works

I mean, maybe not Kik, but you can actually find some decent stuff at Lidl sometimes if you're lucky

boldmarlin16 said:I mean, honestly, all this stuff should take at least four hours minimum, 😁
not that I really care since I'm only 12, so I don't need to mess with makeup or anything, plus my mom just handles the laundry and ironing for me anyway... and by the way, it's "combing," not "comb"

Anyway, my morning basically starts when I drag myself out of bed around 6:45, stumble my way into the bathroom, and then do the whole routine you mentioned—you know, pee, wash up, comb my hair, then shuffle over to the kitchen to eat some junk food, head back to the bathroom to brush my teeth, crawl back to my room to get dressed (which actually goes pretty fast because I blast DJ Tiesto on my phone to get moving), then limp over to the shoe rack to put on my sneakers and head out to the corner store where I wait for the bus to take me to school. 😁

Once I get to school, I hit the lobby, kick off my shoes, toss my jacket aside, and just hang by the door with a friend, either tripping people as they walk in or running away from this one girl who totally hates me. 🤣 When everyone finally shows up, we head upstairs to grab our books and pencil cases, then we're basically sprinting through the halls until the teacher for that period spots us, and then we end up in the homeroom meeting where the teacher starts lecturing and I just drift off to sleep until someone nudges me awake, and then we go to class, and then there's recess where we're back to messing around in the hallways, and then it's just one period after another until sixth period. If you have sixth period off, you spend the time running around the school doing stupid stuff, but if you don't, you're stuck in class. Then we change clothes, throw on our jackets, and wait for the buses, usually just causing chaos around the school entrance while we wait. Once the buses arrive, we keep being idiots on the ride, and when the bus stops, people either get off to go home or stay on until the very last stop. I stay on until the end. 😁 Then I get home and eat more junk, scribble through my homework as fast as I can, read whatever book I'm supposed to be reading, and then jump on the computer. Just wasting my life away on forums and gaming. 🤣 By seven o'clock, I've eaten again, thrown on my pajamas, and gone to bed. And then I wake up, and yeah, you get the idea. 🤣

First off, both "comb" and "combing" work fine, but since schools use different textbooks everywhere, it's not really a big deal—grammar is kind of subjective like that, I guess.

Second, it's "subscribe," not "suscribe." 🤣😍

Third, kid, your problem is actually pretty easy to fix—just have a parent or a grandparent shake you awake until you literally pop out of bed. Your only job is to jump up, brush your teeth, get dressed, and bolt out the door for school.

And once you're done with school, hey, swing by the forum every now and then. 😁

☕☕ yeah, exactly that. except... it's not really like that. I mean, I struggle with it constantly, honestly; some days I’m super disciplined, almost like I’m in the Army or something, but then other days I just completely zone out and I won't hear anything—not the alarm, not thunder, not a streetcar passing by, not even someone banging on my front door.

But I think I've figured out a sort of recipe that actually works for me, I guess:

- keeping the apartment tidy

- keeping everything in its actual place so I don't waste time hunting for stuff later—well, I don't really "hunt" because everything is where it belongs, so I just grab it and go

- going to bed at night without the TV on, or staring at any kind of screen like a smartphone, a laptop, or an iPad, and instead using some scented lotions beforehand (maybe like lemon balm, strawberry, or wild pear...)

- setting my alarm for 6:00 AM, but I definitely don't snooze because I know exactly how to shut it off since the buttons on my phone are all right next to each other, so I set backup alarms for 6:06, 6:13, 6:20, and 6:27. Even though I'm usually awake by the first one, they still go off because, hey, you never know, maybe I drifted back off for a second

- bathroom stuff: pee, brush teeth, tongue, face, wash my nose with plenty of water + brush my hair

- kitchen: I put the milk on to heat up first, and while that's happening I start the coffee maker, and while all that is brewing away, I pour a glass of water and get my cup ready with a spoonful of sugar—once everything is hot and brewed, I mix it all up and take it to my room

- bedroom: the coffee goes on my vanity, and I do my makeup by laying out everything I use daily in the order I apply it: liquid foundation with its sponge, a kabuki brush and powder, blush with its brush, and then the smaller tools for detail: a little brush and eyeshadow 1 and eyeshadow 2, black eyeliner, and then mascara

- then I go get dressed, and it's usually what I was already thinking about in a low-key way last night, which I basically finalized this morning while I was in the bathroom and kitchen—I definitely don't iron in the morning, I do that at night, but I try to buy low-maintenance clothes from the jump, and if I do buy something like a button-down shirt, I iron it the second it comes out of the dryer (actually, as soon as the washer finishes, I pull the laundry out, give it a good shake, and iron it while it's dry because it's at its least wrinkled state—and again, that's only for a few pieces since most of my stuff is very low-maintenance)

- once I'm dressed, I put on another layer of mascara since the first layer dried out, pack up my makeup, take my cup to the sink, and put my shoes on.

- so, I head back to my vanity, slap on some more red lipstick, maybe a little dash of my go-to perfume, toss on a fancy scarf and... boom, I'm basically ready to conquer the world.

- oh, and while I'm doing all that, I've got my favorite tracks just shuffling away on my phone.😍

- one last glance in the mirror, grab my jacket, snag my purse, and let's gooo!

if I managed to roll out of bed by 6:10, this whole routine takes me until about 6:33, maybe 6:35 if I'm feeling particularly slow.

and then I can finally head off to wherever the hell I'm going. if I have to trek across town, I try to be out the door by 6:30 at the latest, because after that, traffic starts getting pretty annoying...

☕

weekends? yeah, I'm a total sloth. I basically live in my pajamas. I usually grab all my groceries—milk, bread, whatever else—on Friday so I don't even have to think about leaving the house. unless, you know, the crew actually convinces me to go out.😍😍😍

Honestly, what I love most about this stuff is how you can basically throw it into any outfit without looking like you’re trying too hard. It’s like this weird living paradox where nothing is so loud that you couldn't wear it two days in a row, yet it's still striking enough that just pairing one piece with some black jeans makes you look like you actually put effort in, you know? And honestly, from what I've seen, the quality is legit—the clothes and shoes actually hold their shape and don't lose their color after a couple of trips through the wash, which is rare these days.
Once you sign up, they hit you with a discount code for your first order, and then, I guess, it feels like there's always some new promo code floating around every other day. For me, it's been awesome because it saved me from that endless, soul-crushing hunt through those tiny little shops that barely have any decent sizes or styles that don't look totally ridiculous to me...
