I guess it goes something like this: a little boat drifts out across the sea,
just a tiny boat out on the open water.
And inside that boat, sitting there, is the mother of President Kennedy,
yeah, the mother of President Kennedy is in that boat.
II- That little boat sails along, totally unfazed by any naval mines,
it just keeps going, not even worried about the mines.
The mother sent him out to find his son,
she sent him out looking for her boy.
III- So the mother sends her son off to search,
she sends her boy out to look for him.
And then she goes to check in with General Eisenhower,
she reaches out to General Eisenhower.
IV- She asks, "General, where is my child?"
"General, tell me, where is my boy?"
And he tells her they’re being guarded by the U.S. Marines,
protected by those American Marines!
