Which 2TB HDD is better? in Desktops ·
Hi everyone! So, I'll try to keep this quick and simple, but I'm looking to pick up one more 2TB hard drive to add to my current setup, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me which of these two might be the better choice? I've heard people generally suggest Western Digital, but I figured I'd ask here just in case 🙂

Western Digital 3.5", 2TB, SATA3 6Gb/s, 256MB Cache, 7200rpm

or maybe

Seagate Barracuda Guardian (3.5", 2TB, SATA3 6Gb/s, 256MB Cache, 7200rpm)
https://www.amazon.com/hard-drive-example/

Or perhaps there's a third option out there that fits within this price range, since I'm trying to stick to a bit of a budget?
Thanks, everyone! 🙂

So, I suppose that means you'd probably need an HDMI port on both ends? Because, if I remember correctly, my current monitor only seems to have an HDMI input🤔

I’m not really a hardcore gamer or anything, and I don't usually play FPS games much; I tend to stick to things like The Witcher or Tomb Raider instead... so I was just wondering what that function actually does for someone like me. Thank You for the recommendation, I think I'll just go ahead and grab an HDMI cable 🙂

So, I just picked up a new monitor, and I’m feeling a little lost regarding which cable would be the smartest choice to grab. It’s an HP Victus 75 Hz FreeSync model, and the only thing that came in the box was this old VGA cable, but I really don't want to use that since my graphics card doesn't even have a VGA port anymore. If I tried to use one of those old VGA-to-DVI adapters, I think the screen might start flickering because those things always feel so loose and unreliable.

Since this new monitor has an HDMI port, I was thinking about just going with that, but my graphics card actually has a few different options—it has DVI, HDMI, and HDMI, so I'm kind of stuck wondering which combination makes the most sense. Should I go with HDMI-to-DVI, HDMI-to-HDMI... or maybe just use the HDMI? I guess I wonder if there’s actually a noticeable difference in picture quality or how games perform depending on the connection. Also, does this FreeSync feature actually matter much for me? I was reading online that you might not even be able to use it if you happen to have an Nvidia card, so I'm a bit confused.
Thanks so much, I really appreciate it! ;-)
Oh, I guess I might have been mistaken about how that works, though I was thinking it might be something like that. Do I really need to worry about which specific DVI connector I pick out? I noticed there seem to be a bunch of different versions out there
...I mean, is it possible they all just fit perfectly fine regardless?
So, I have a quick question from someone who's clearly out of the loop here :-P basically, I've got this monitor at home that uses a standard VGA cable, but the computer I borrowed doesn't actually have a port for it on the back of the case. Here's what it looks like

I guess I was wondering, what kind of adapter or cable would I need to get these two things to talk to each other?
Rewatching old World Cups in Soccer ·
Hey everyone, I have a quick question, and I'm sure you all will be much smarter than me on this one...
Does anyone know where online I can watch or download most of the games from the 2010, 2006, and 2002 World Cups? My boyfriend and I have been scouring torrent sites, various forums, and those file-sharing pages... we managed to stumble upon a few, but honestly, most of them aren't there anymore or the links just don't work... does anyone happen to know? You can always just shoot me a private message if that's easier..

Hi there 😉
haha.. oh man.. you know.. it’s the exact same thing!!!! 😉 I guess I almost didn't even realize it 😛

I don't think anyone could have put it better than that, I really don't! I'm totally with you on this one. 😉
I guess I feel the same way about that whole "stretching out the songs" thing you guys always talk about; it's honestly such a vibe, because I think that’s really what makes a live set feel so different from just listening to the studio recordings.

I'm actually feeling a little bit bummed that I missed out on hearing Shelter Ur Needs... and a few other tracks too, though I suppose if you asked me, they probably would have played everything! 😁
I also heard that they used to play Hardly Wait, which I think would have been absolutely amazing to catch live.
But hey, I guess there's always next time.

Hey, I think I totally agree with the first part of that...
but I don't know, I didn't really feel anything was over-the-top yesterday... I guess music is just so subjective, right? 😉 You can't really say something isn't 100% good just because it isn't your cup of tea, 😉
and I still stand by what I said before... they're just wild! And honestly, what's wrong with a little sex appeal?? 😁
I mean, you really can't compare YouTube clips to actual studio albums, right? I used to think they were great before, but I honestly had no idea what I was missing until last night. The energy on that stage was just something else... and man, they sound so much better live than on record. For me personally, that was easily one of the most intense concerts I've ever been to!
And besides, what's all this talk about acting or overdoing it? I guess that’s just what people call "performance," and it's honestly such a huge part of any good rock show! 😉
Juliette definitely knows how to put on a real show!
😍
Quick question for anyone who made it out to the show in NYC today...
Does anybody happen to know the name of that song they played right near the beginning? It’s not on any of their albums—and I honestly own every single one of them...
The lyrics were something like...

"she's so free, she's nothing like me"..
And the chorus goes: "you like the fire..."

It's such a killer track! I think it was actually the first time I've ever heard it live!!! If anyone happens to know what it is, please let me know! 😁

Best,
