Honestly, it would be easy enough to summarize your group using arguments like "you're all just old-school collectivists," "everyone would steal if given the chance," or even "why aren't you protesting corruption in Somalia?"—that's basically the gist of it.

It was hilarious to me at first, though it got a bit exhausting after a while; but then, I realized how funny it is how contradictory they always end up being—so now, I don't mind them at all. The thing is... back when we used the PDF on BlackBerry, we actually had this arrangement—essentially a service, I suppose—where the crew over at ESPN would provide us with incredibly high-quality streams for all those shows we can't seem to catch through any of the other links usually advertised here.
It was basically an on-demand service based on requests from the community members.

But now, we've lost that option entirely because a user—who also happens to be part of the ESPN team—got banned from the forum for "advertising"... which, if I recall correctly, he wasn't even soliciting; we were the ones asking him!
And, well, the moderators were using his links too, so they were essentially going through him.
Given how specific the PDF is regarding the promotion of links and streams, and considering they were actually doing us a favor, I just don't quite grasp the logic behind this move.
Besides... from day one, every single relevant thread has contained links to streams, and everyone uses them... even though, yes, we are all aware that Reddit doesn't officially support linking out to other forums.

Is there any chance this is just a mistake—perhaps a case of the rules being applied a bit too zealously? And, I mean, is there any way that user's ban could be lifted so we can get those streams back?
Because if not, we might find ourselves in a bit of a 😢
