You don't donate brains.
And you can't donate arms and legs.
I guess I could donate my brain to a medical school for research purposes or something, rather than for a transplant.
Honestly, I’d probably just donate my entire body to a medical school if I could, but then my family wouldn't have anything to visit at the cemetery, and I think that would be way too heavy for them to deal with. So, for now, I’m sticking to just being an organ donor.
If there really is something waiting for us on the other side, I’m pretty sure we’re gonna need our eyes, liver, lungs, and maybe even our brains up there. I'd give it all up—whether it's to save someone's life or just to help med students learn through study.

Basically, I was wondering if anyone here has actually tried reaching out to Johns Hopkins Hospital via email to schedule something, and if so, how long did it take for them to actually get back to you? Thanks a bunch in advance. 😉
Man, we were sitting around just waiting on an answer for four whole days...

Most of their orders tend to roll in between 1:00 and 2:00 PM, so if you want any chance of catching them, that’s probably your best window to try.
I swear, I’ve tried calling their info lines so many times, but I can never actually get anyone to pick up. It’s like they just don't exist. Even when I try reaching out in the middle of the night, the lines are always busy or just ringing out indefinitely.

Honestly, if you’ve definitely got chickenpox, I’d probably skip heading straight to the doctor's office, mostly because it's super contagious through the air and you don't want to accidentally start an outbreak in the waiting room.
It's probably better to just hang out at home and keep an eye on things; you might be running a fever for maybe 5 to 7 days while those spots start popping up all over.
Maybe give your doctor a quick call just to get some pointers on what to do, though everyone seems to have different ideas—some people swear by calamine lotion, others say skip it, and then there's the whole debate over using antiseptics or not.
I ended up getting hit with it when I was 19, and man, it was brutal, just spots everywhere piled on top of each other. Total nightmare. My fever lasted about three days.
Hang in there!
If those little bumps on your head are starting to itch, it might mean they're already starting to break out.
So, how are you feeling right now?
Have you actually checked if you have a fever? You might be running a temperature, and honestly, that weird brain fog you're feeling could totally just be from dehydration.
Try a few quick tests—touch your chest with your chin, move your tongue side to side, and then try to touch your nose while standing up with your eyes closed. Or even better, see if you can balance on one leg with your eyes shut.
It’s hard to say for sure, but it could be chickenpox since the timing fits the incubation period, or maybe just the flu or strep throat. There's also a million other things it could be, especially if you're feeling super run down.
Just keep an eye on your temperature, keep drinking plenty of water, and definitely find someone to check in on you.
