Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
I have truly never experienced anything quite like this, and I find myself in a state of genuine shock because the crux of the matter is that I completely overlooked her, which means she will undoubtedly be included during the next intermission.🤔
Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
I am reaching out because I could really use some guidance. I have been taking Yasmin, and my intention was to skip a period entirely. To facilitate this, I continued with my current pack of Yasmin so that I would experience my cycle today—which, given my specific health circumstances, is something I am trying to manage quite carefully. I still have approximately ten pills remaining from that second pack I used to bypass the bleeding.

I am feeling completely bewildered and rather anxious because I have actually started bleeding. Years ago, I successfully skipped a period when intended, but this sudden development has left me feeling totally unsettled and unable to sleep.
Hello everyone, I recently had some hormone panels done and received my results today. To be honest, I have been struggling quite a bit with weight gain lately, even though my food intake hasn't actually increased much.
I am planning to visit my gynecologist, though I must admit I am not particularly satisfied with him as a physician; he rarely offers any clear explanations, tends to mutter to himself, and fails to provide direct answers when I ask specific questions. His usual suggestion is simply that if I were to get pregnant, everything would eventually balance itself out🤦... so, yes, I am looking for a new doctor, but that is a separate matter entirely for now.

I am attaching a photo of my lab results here, and I would be incredibly grateful if someone with medical knowledge could help me interpret them, as they are completely incomprehensible to me. My goal is to have an informed conversation with my doctor and determine if I should request referrals for further testing.

Thank you very much.🙂
Yes, I am fully aware that I shouldn't be ordering these things. It is something I truly need to take care of, yet I simply cannot seem to get around to it... I’m still quite uncertain about the specific protocol regarding kidney health, though I am planning to head over to Mayo Clinic to sort everything out eventually.
That sounds wonderful. Which hospital did you end up visiting?
Brandon Lopez6, did you actually have to schedule an appointment in advance at the hospital? I have an appointment coming up at noon to get my thyroid hormone levels checked along with some antibody testing, and I am honestly unsure if I need to call ahead to book a specific slot or if they just take walk-ins.

I am looking for some recommendations for a reliable gynecologist (I have no preference regarding gender, so either a male or female doctor would be perfectly fine).

Ideally, I would prefer someone covered by Medicare, though if you don't know of anyone within that network, I am certainly open to seeing someone privately.

Thank you.

To’s just not something I can swing right now with all my other expenses piling up, and honestly, I have no way of knowing which way things will go either. My plan is to get a referral for a specialist over at Mayo Clinic, and once I’m actually in the room with them, hopefully they can point me toward a different doctor if they aren't the right fit for what I need.

Kevin Bailey2, I find myself in a bit of a bind because my current therapist just isn't clicking with me and hasn't been helpful at all, yet I honestly have no idea how to go about finding someone else who might be a better fit.

Today, I’m feeling a bit more stable than I did yesterday. I’ve only been on this medication for three days, so I suppose it remains to be seen how things will progress over time.

One significant change I have noticed is a noticeable decrease in my appetite. Normally, I would find myself constantly snacking or eating late into the evening. I always viewed my relationship with food as a way to bury sadness, stress, and every other form of negativity under a layer of sustenance. My pattern was typically to skip meals during the day and then overindulge once night fell.

Now, I tend to eat very light lunches, small portions for dinner, and generally feel much less driven by an urge to eat.

The one struggle is that sleep has become elusive; I couldn't fall asleep last night, and tonight is proving to be just as difficult. I am going to attempt to rest now, though sleep has started to become quite a struggle for me.

When I do manage to drift off, the dreams I experience are rather unsettling.

I am still trying to navigate the process of finding a suitable psychotherapist through my health insurance provider.

In about a week, I plan to attend a local youth group therapy session to see if that kind of environment might offer some sense of relief.

I found that taking Xanax at night worked wonders for me. I would fall asleep like a baby, though I’d have an incredibly hard time dragging myself out of bed the next morning. On those nights when I had to get up to use the restroom, I felt completely groggy, almost as if I were still under the influence of something.😍

That said, I didn't rely on it constantly; I only reached for it during those specific moments when my mind just wouldn't shut off and sleep felt impossible.
Unfortunately, my struggles aren't the kind you can fix with a quick boost of self-esteem, or by getting over a breakup, or dealing with body image issues, or feeling lonely without friends. My situation is much more profound and painful—two major life events have hit me within the last year alone—and I am left trying to figure out how to reconcile with what happened, how to accept this reality, and how to somehow move forward while carrying this persistent ache with me.

This is precisely why I feel the need to sit down with a professional. My psychiatrist prescribes pills just to keep me calm enough to drift off, but my doctor at the VA suggested I should try to find some sense of purpose again because I seem to have lost all motivation to actually live. I spend my entire day cooped up inside my house, and I'm not truly "living" in any meaningful sense of the word.

I find myself wondering if this is truly considered normal behavior. What happens if an AD pushes you right over the edge during one of those moments?

I’ve been taking Misar alongside my AD. I notice that I feel a bit more subdued and quiet in the evenings now. I suppose I'll have to wait and see how things settle over the next few days.

Eric Gray2 said:Things are starting to get pretty heavy, if you ask me.

I don't think that's quite right, though—could you please elaborate? I haven't really relied on ADHD medication much; I've mostly just used Oxazepam or Xanax on my own every now and then when I simply couldn't get to sleep.

Now, my doctor has prescribed me Mirtazapine and Zoloft.

I have been struggling for quite some time already, but this is a completely different sensation altogether. I spend half the day sleeping, I feel entirely slowed down, and there is this overwhelming sense of sadness and melancholy where nothing seems to hold any meaning anymore.

It feels like being in a total coma...

Today marks the day I finally took my first dose of Ada
I feel like I'm in a complete fog. This depression is just brutal... I suppose this is just what the adjustment period feels like.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a psychotherapist in the Chicago area? I am specifically looking for someone who actually engages with me—not just some psychiatrist who sits there listening to me talk only to hand me a prescription and show me the door. Ideally, I would like to find someone covered by Medicare, and I would prefer if they weren't located at Johns Hopkins Hospital. I realize I might be asking for a lot, but mental health struggles are real, and I need actual support...

🙂I just cannot do anything near Johns Hopkins Hospital.

It is impossible for anyone to give you a definitive answer on that specific point, primarily because customs duties fluctuate significantly depending on the exact nature and classification of the items you are purchasing. To get an accurate figure, your best course of action would be to consult directly with a freight forwarder; they maintain comprehensive duty schedules and can provide the precise breakdown you need.

When you are calculating the total cost, make sure to account for shipping and freight expenses as well; remember that transportation can vary significantly depending on whether you opt for air freight, ocean shipping, or other methods.

It really all comes down to the specific volume and the total weight involved.

Determining whether any given firm—particularly one based in China—is truly secure is a task that borders on the impossible. I found myself wrestling with this exact dilemma some time ago, searching for a definitive answer that simply doesn't exist. Ultimately, I had to accept that absolute certainty was out of reach and proceed by taking calculated risks until I managed to vet and identify reliable suppliers.

Customs duties, sales tax, and shipping fees.
It goes without saying that you absolutely need to have the Declaration of Independence.

I’ve looked into it,
It seems her whole business model is designed so that you essentially pay her to order a $133 shirt for you; for instance, if a shirt costs $100, she just places the order and has it shipped directly to your doorstep.
She pockets the $33 difference and frankly doesn't care about the delivery timeline or whether anything goes wrong with the shipment along the way.

Technically, you won't be hit with customs fees or any other extra charges upfront, but I honestly believe some customers end up getting burned when they get stuck paying unexpected import duties on what turns out to be counterfeit Nikes.

To be honest, I don't really bother ordering directly through websites at all. I prefer working with specific sellers whom I coordinate with personally via email and mobile
.
I am not entirely sure what specific items you are looking to purchase, but I would suggest trying a Google search for terms like "wholesale bracelets" or similar queries
.
That should definitely bring up a wide variety of sites, and from there, you can simply hunt around for the best deals available to you
.

It’s honestly a bit of both. Things are going exceptionally well for me right now, though I have to admit there are many years of hard work behind me; if I hadn't built up that foundation, I likely wouldn't be seeing this kind of success today.

Because I manage several different ventures simultaneously, I can't give you a precise breakdown of exactly how much each one earns, especially since my monthly income fluctuates quite a bit depending on the season.

Your mother gave you some incorrect information, so I wouldn't take what she said to heart.

Starting your own small business will become a much more expensive undertaking in the near future. If I were in your shoes, I would strongly suggest scheduling a consultation with a CPA or an accountant to get some professional guidance on the matter.

It isn't just about that; the items often come in larger bulk packaging which automatically triggers certain issues. If you look at those Facebook pages dedicated to designer brands, that woman keeps everything on hand and then ships it out herself. I honestly can't wrap my head around what her actual strategy is.

The thing is, she’s operating entirely without a registered business or an LLC. If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't dream of taking that kind of risk without having a formal business structure in place.

Especially when you consider the massive issue of counterfeit goods.
I don't order through Temu. To be honest, I have no idea what that even is. 🤔

I maintain direct lines of communication with my suppliers, so we coordinate via email and cell phone; however, it took quite a significant amount of time to build enough rapport with them to ensure they wouldn't try to screw me over.

I realize this might all seem fairly straightforward to you, but it really isn't. It’s not as simple as walking up to a desk at the local courthouse to file paperwork and expecting sales to start rolling in immediately.

There are numerous monthly overhead costs associated with running a legitimate company, and if you actually want to see a profit—meaning, if you want to drive sales—you have to invest in advertising and marketing, which adds up quickly.

You really ought to sit down and write all these expenses out on paper.
