I caught this at an AMC Theatres last year, so the specifics are a bit fuzzy now, but I gotta say, I really liked it. It’s just a good, positive movie... Leaves you with a great feeling, and the fact that it tackles some pretty unconventional themes is a huge plus.

I caught Lipps live last year on tour with Beck, and man, they were absolutely killer. They were the opening act, and the whole performance was just incredibly trippy. There were maybe 15 or 20 fans in the crowd decked out in bunny costumes waving flashlights—it was such a trip. It felt like some kind of Dadaist lecture with a massive screen and insane lighting... After all that, Beck was honestly a bit of a letdown.
Highly recommend seeing them live. They're geniuses. Total blast.
Looks like they're hitting Chicago in November, which is the closest I can get—but damn, two out of the three shows are already totally sold out. Crap, I need to grab tickets fast, but I'm flat broke right now.🙄Typical.
But whatever, Pixies... they're worth it.
